Yeoman Tirina Sowren

Personal Profile: Tirina Sowren

ECF Directives Acceptance Pledge

I, Sowren, Tirina hereby accept and promise to abide by as well as uphold all the Directives of the Exploratory Crews of the Federation.

Tirina grew up on Bajor on the Dhunkur Province. She loved to walk in the town and spend time with friends. She joined the resistance when she was only thirteen. Her sister was already in the resistance and seeing her sister fight for Bajor's freedom made her want to join. As soon as she turned thirteen she was allowed to join and began training. She showed and aptitude in marksmanship and hand to hand combat. After her training she was assigned to a resistance cell. She fought side by side with her sister, until one day her sister was killed. She then took over where her sister left off vowing revenge for her sisters death. She turned to her cousin to help her. Tirina trained harder for this reason and after stalking the Cardassians who killed her sister, she plotted her revenge. Unaware of the danger around her, she walked into a trap. She was captured and held for four days until her cousin came and rescued her. During the capture Tirina was tortured for information about the resistance and their plans. During this time, she never spoke. Tirina has a secret that only a few know. She holds this secret so tight inside her, that it is hard for her to trust anyone.

After the Occupation, Tirina went to Earth and enrolled in SFA. It was time for a change. She wanted to make a difference and also play a role in keeping Federation worlds safe. She majored in Medicine and earned her Doctorate, she also received her pilots license. She minored in a variety of posts so if a commanding officer needed a spot filled she would be able to do that. She continued practicing her marksmanship and won awards for the competitions she was in. She enjoys hunting the most, but will sit down and read a good book whenever she gets a chance.
