Tonal infused Gurattans memories with Wix through a mind meld, however before all the phases were complete Gurattan succumbed to the disease and died. Wix, thinking his twin had died, was saddened, and turned to his training and schooling to help cope. His parents intent on training Wix to become a scientist did not let him explore his heritage. They let him participate in very little recreation and never challenged him creatively. His mental abilities were strengthened and his physical strength was apparent, however he never fully trained as a Vulcan, Klingon or Betazoid. His parents were more concerned with his intelligence and telepathic abilities than anything else.
His intensive schooling continued until he was approximately 18 years old, however his state of mind far exceeded that of a 25-year-old male. Zixi and Tonal put tremendous pressure on Wix to follow in their footsteps as scientist, but when he expressed his interest in Starfleet, his parents finally told him he was a clone, and might not live a full normal life.
Angered by his parents deceit, he left home, traveled to Earth and applied to Starfleet. He disowned his family. He carried what he knew of his heritage and culture and found himself accepted by Starfleet. Fearful that being a clone would outcast him at the Academy, he did not reveal his secret to his newly found friends until his second year. He was not treated differently when he was revealed and Wix then used his mixed heritage to his advantage. He learned from many people at the Academy about his background and began to embrace the cultures he had not had the chance to explore before. He has trained with Klingons, Vulcans and Betazoids to increase his physical and mental abilities. And although this extra training has created a sound emotional state, he still possesses aggressive and violent tendencies when challenged or provoked. He rarely uses his telepathic abilities unless he deems them necessary.
Wix Terra enjoys writing holo-novels, and flying. He is known to play a mean game of Parisi's Squares, and enjoys a Kal-toh. Although he is introverted and quiet, if you know him personally, he is extremely friendly and open, and can adapt in most social situations but always remains serious while on duty. He has not seen his parents since he left his home colony, and has no intentions of ever going back. He is unsure of the impact his medical condition will have on his life span, but with his extensive genetics knowledge he continues to do his own research and is prepared for any anomalies that may occur.
