ECF Directives Acceptance Pledge

I, JB William Mackamon hereby accept and promise to abide by as well as uphold all the Directives of the Exploratory Crews of the Federation.

JB Kammahon was born as the sixth child and boy to the Kammahon's. He was and still is the youngest son, and was abused physically and mentally by his male siblings. He often missed school because of injuries, has multiple scars on his body and almost countless notes of sprains. On one occasion when he was just eight years old he was being stalked by his brothers, only being protected by the second youngest, James. However, he was pushed aside and attacked. Falling unconscious, he woke up with a broken arm and multiple bruises, with his parents doing little to nothing to discipline his siblings.

Despite this, JB fared well in school, mastering calculus at 12. JB was the social outcast, he had few friends and spent most of his time in his room with the door locked, studying and protecting himself from the constant rage his brothers possessed for him. He befriended an Andorian child and they often spend time together, learning more about space. He continued studying science and physics while secretly taking self defense courses. When he reached legal age, he had his name changed to "Mackamon" - the family name of his cousins and applied to Starfleet Academy. He narrowly making it in, just beating the other applicant from New Jersey, a Vulcan. He spent four tough years studying more into sciences, determined to make a better use of his life other than wasting it in the blazes of hatred that formed to his family. During he second year, he was suspected of aiding a renegade group of Starfleet officers by giving them some weapons and supplies from a locker room. However, he was found innocent, his friend, Michael however, was convicted.

Upon graduating he was posted to the USS Potemkin, but he transferred off shortly afterwards for personal reasons. However, while he was posted, he experienced a body change with one of his brothers, James. Although James had never really attacked him, JB held and still does hold malice towards his brother for not aiding or speaking in his defense. The experience was heart breaking for him

Granted a transfer to the Technica, his career really unfolded and he began experiencing what Starfleet really was. He remained quiet, performing his tasks as expected under the command of Captain Slover. At one point they went back in time to World War II Earth and to Borg space, where he learned first hand the power of Prometheus classes with the inversion beam included.

When Captain Slover resigned, JB continued under chief science officer Devon Raines and new Captain Jenn Nadire. He befriended some other young officers including Star Summers and Dak Carvile. Shortly afterwards, he followed Captain Nadire and most of the crew he knew to the new Nova II class, the USS Nebuchadnezzer NCC-50103 as the chief of science.

Mackamon was becoming close to his crewmates. Real friendships were beginning to form and he began to date a young engineer named Juliette James. Shortly after Mack and Julie were married they discovered that their Captain, Jenn Nadire was being impersonated by a Cardassian. Jenn had been kidnapped by Cardassians and the USAG so that the radical group might obtain the power source for a mystical artifact called the eye. The crew found their Captain and the Nebuchadnezzer set off to find the pieces to this mysterious item which had the power to move anything in the universe.

During the ships adventurous trek, the crew and Mack experienced a body change, similar to the one that he went through on the Potemkin. However, this time it was with Star Summers, one of his friends from back on the Technica. Shortly afterwards the crew returned, the changes never being final.

The crew found the pieces to the eye, Mackamon being a big part. Nadire began using the artifact to save them and became taken over by its power. It was destroyed later, when it was beamed directly into a star. A new Cardassian-Borg virus referred to as the "K-Mart virus" infected the USS Nebuchadnezzer. It transformed the infected into a USAG soldier, almost like a Borg drone. As it made it way aboard the ship, Mackamon, Cooper, and Doctor Karo escaped being assimilated and ultimately thought of a cure using untainted DNA.

Personally, Mackamon had a fall out with his wife, Juliette, and a few months later got romantically involved with Sabrina Suder. They eloped and she conceived, with triplets. Mackamon continued to stay on duty, and was promoted to Commander in no time.

While Captain Nadire was under the control of the USAG, she killed JB's cousin JC Mackamon who was also on the USS Nebuchadnezzer.

An anomaly formed near Starbase 13 and the Nebuchadnezzer was sent to investigate. Suder had gave birth by now, but JB had been secretly having relations with Captain Nadire, who was torn from being rejected by her husband Captain Tre'Maar after being pulled from the past. In the mean time, Captain Nadire managed to get a hold of a Trisandian orb, an orb that can replicate the effects of the eye. This worries JB and he hopes the same thing doesn't happen again. He just recently divorced Sabrina Suder, who lost all memories of events that transpired since she graduated from Starfleet Academy.

JB Mackamon is currently a Commander aboard the USS Nebuchadnezzer NCC-50103, as chief science officer and second officer.
