ECF Directives Acceptance Pledge

I, Jenn Samira Nadire hereby accept and promise to abide by as well as uphold all the Directives of the Exploratory Crews of the Federation.

Jenn Samira Nadire couldn't wait to join the universe. She was born three weeks early when, on a leisure trip to Dreon VII, her parents shuttle encountered a small subspace disturbance, sending Samantha into premature labor. Her father Nadire Miero held her in his hands, and knew she was destined to live among the stars. Nadire Miero was then a Private in the Bajoran Military, doing his best to "work" among the Cardassians during the Occupation. When Jenn was six years old, Nadire Miero felt bringing her up on Bajor would not offer her the best life, and fled for earth. Samantha applied for a non commissioned position with Starfleet, while Nadire Miero attended the Academy.

While growing up Jenn's parents showed her the best of both worlds. She learned all about Earth and Bajor, and kept her loyalty split evenly between the two even though she had left Bajor. Her friends were varied, many different cultures and species. She spent several years on Starbase 3 while her father was stationed there and became very familiar with Starfleet protocol, operations, and technology. Jenn excelled in her studies. Her high IQ helped her to graduate from High School by the time she was 16. Complications arose from a relationship with a young Klingon boy and when he was forced to move to Qo'noS, she begged her father to let her study on Bajor. Though risky, he managed to smuggle her in during a routine "Humanitarian" mission with Starfleet. Her studies continued to excel and abiding by her fathers advice, attempted to integrate with the Cardassians. She became a pilot for a freighter to support herself, and when she turned 18 she applied to Starfleet. When she was accepted her father dropped a bomb on Jenn and her mother, he was leaving Starfleet to join the Bajoran Resistance. He died a year later, the cause was never uncovered.

Heartbroken, Jenn and Samantha formed a tight bond and together they worked through their loss of father and husband. Jenn immersed herself in her studies soon after her father's death and graduated a semester early with honors.

Her first assignment was the USS Destiny, though a short stint on the ship she learned much, and became an expert Starship pilot as the student of the ships Executive Officer, T'lanji a Klingon woman whom she became good friends with. During a rescue mission the USS Destiny encountered a temporal anomaly, thus began Jenn's interest in time travel. She studied several cases of time travel, through the years, including Jean Luc Picard's encounter with the Tox Uthat, a weapon from the future he encountered on Risa.

Samantha passed away while Jenn was on shore leave in 2373. Jenn took a few extra weeks to settle her family affairs and upon her return to the Destiny, she no longer felt part of the crew. She was, at that time, asked to join the USS Agamemnon.

On the USS Agamemnon, not a very exciting mission to say the least, she was taken under the wing of the captain, and learned everything she could about the day to day operations of a starship. Captain Dalron Tibur, another half Bajoran-half Human, and one of the first Bajoran Captains for Starfleet, took a huge interest in her growth. In the pretense of showing Jenn the spiritual side of Bajor, a side she only skimmed through, it came to surface his ulterior motives: romance. When Jenn turned him down it became too uncomfortable and she requested a transfer. Captain Jim Slover welcomed Jenn with open arms, and offered her the operations position on his ship. Jenn readily accepted.

Jenn excelled in her duties as operations officer and as she worked her way up the ranks she learned the ropes of command. Jenn was thrust into the first officers position early on in her career when Captain Slover was abducted by the Borg. Commanding along side then Commander Tre'Maar, the two learned they had much in common and grew very close. On the rescue mission to retrieve Captain Slover, Jenn was taken by the Borg and half assimilated before her own rescue. Starfleet medical personnel were able to remove the implants.

When Tre'Maar earned the commission of the USS Talon, Captain Slover appointed Jenn the first officers position and promoted her to Executive Commander. Tre'Maar asked for Nadire's hand in marriage before leaving for his new assignment. They were wed shortly after on the Talon.

Together Slover and Nadire took on the universe with brute force, fighting Borg, Q, and the Alien Predators along the way. The long arduous battles took its toll on ship and crew, but Jenn earned the rank of Captain and proudly accepted. She remained on the Technica with her crew.

When the time had come for her to move on, Jenn was requested a Nova II Class refit as her choice for command. She now proudly stands on the bridge of the USS Nebuchadnezzer with the finest crew, and a continuing mission to rid the universe of hostile evil doers.

Recent turn of events have made Captain Nadire's life a bit more complicated than most. While searching the universe for a powerful artifact called the Eye, most of her crew learned of her history with the Cardassians and how they used her many years prior to help them uncover the power source for the Eye. Though she worked for the Cardassians against her will, she was able to escape with the power source, and kept it safe for many years. Eventually, the Nezzer crew found all the pieces to the Eye. Nadire began using the artifact to help keep her crew safe, and slowly was taken over by the object. When the Intrepid, Triton, and Nezzer battled the USAG and Dominion forces near DS9, Nadire used the Eye to destroy thousands of people against her better judgment. Thankfully the crew intervened and saved her, destroying the Eye's power source. The piece of the artifact were sent to Starfleet for study.

When the USAG and Cardassians joined together some months later, in attempts to bring the ECF down, once more, Nadire was again used as a pawn. Her inactive implant and a rare strain of a Cardassian virus were used to manipulate her state of mind and she found herself working with the Changling Admiral Sotuk ridding the fleet of several key officers who knew of the USAG plan. The virus however was incurable due to massive deception of Nadire's DNA, and a future version of the Captain went back in time in order to preserve the time line.

Captain Nadire used the knowledge of the Riker transporter incident to create a clone of Commander Nadire and brought her back to present day to take the place of the infected Nadire. Commander Nadire was giving the memories of Captain Nadire in hopes of her taking over, but she woke early causing more problems for the ship and crew.

After an in-depth evaluation and inability to return Commander Nadire back to her own time, she accepted continued command of the Nezzer. Her personal life took a turn for the worst when Captain Tre'Maar refused to accept the Commander Nadire as his mate once he realized she was not the same woman who gave birth to his children. Jenn threw herself into her work, continuing on their regular missions searching for her own truths along the way.
