I, Sir Adam Robert Cooper hereby accept and promise to abide by as well as uphold all the Directives of the Exploratory Crews of the Federation.

Adam Cooper's origins are unknown. It is assumed that all members of his race are extremely long lived and that this is normal for them. Externally, Adam resembles a human male. He does have functional wings which he can retract. When retracted, his wings are virtually undetectable.

The name "Sir Adam Robert Cooper" was taken slowly over many years. His father called him "Adam" which means "Man" in one of Terra's oldest languages. The name Robert was taken in honor of his father, R'uvyn, as Adam would be a modernized term for it. The surname Cooper was taken after his years as a cooper. He was known then as "Adam the Cooper" or "Adam Cooper." Adam was knighted by Elizabeth I. He retains the prefix of Sir as a form of homage to this great and formidable woman which he had the utmost respect for.

Adam is not certain when and how he came to reside on Earth. He appears to have suffered considerable cranial damage while he was yet quite young. It is believed that Adam was onboard a starship that crash landed on Earth sometime in the late 8th century.
