| Old family friends with the Walshes back in Minnesota. Originally from Buffalo, New York. Moved to Beverly Hills to live with the Walshes after her father committed suicide and her mother wasn't able to take care of her. They Walsh family welcomed Valerie into their home and life and she moved into Brenda's old room. Soon it was clear she was a very troubled young woman she dated Steve while sleeping with Dylan. Kelly was very suspicious from the beginning and when she saw her smoking pot, although Valerie said it was incense the trust were completely gone and the two didn't get a long from the start. She had a lot of different boyfriends but the most serious relationship she had was with David. The two fell in love shortly after David's mother tried to commit suicide and Valerie was very supportive and helped him overcome the fear since she had been true the some ordeal. The relationship between them ended when her pal Ginger blackmailed her on money and wanted to sleep with David, Valerie agreed and David left her. While in Hawaii with the gang Valerie met Noah a young handsome single guy and they got involved in a short relationship until he saw her kissing another guy. Val and David found their way back to each other after fist faking they were a couple, but the feeling they had were still there and this time David also left her but because of a different reason. When they broke up she had a one-night stand with a photographer who worked shooting a fashion show at the PPAD. She found out the guy was HIV positive and she told David what happened and he was there for her all the way. In the beginning of season 9 (after finding out she was HIV negative) she moved back home with her mother to start a new life. |
