| A year younger than the rest of the original gang (Donna, Brandon, Brenda, Steve, Andrea and Dylan) David Silver has grown up and changed a lot since the beginning of the show. When we first met him at West Beverly High he was an uncool guy whom with his friend Scott tried very hard to become a part of the popular in crowd (i.e Kelly, Donna, Steve....) A girl who David fancied the entire first year in High School was the much popular Kelly Taylor who didn't share the same feelings towards him and who later became his step-sister. David gradually managed to get into the crowd when he started to date Donna Martin. When David got accepted by Steve and the rest of the gang his relationship with Scott got hurt and they grew apart. When Scott accidentally killed himself with his father's gun David felt guilty about the way their friendship had ended in. After David's father and Kelly's mother tied the knot and had a child together David was completely a part of the gang. David's relationship with Donna hit the first bump in College when he started using drugs as a way to stay awake during the nightshifts at C U radio. The relationship ended when Donna found him and a girl named Ariel at the backseat of a limousine at the Mardi Gras Carnival. He has had many girlfriends over the years, Valerie, Clare, Sophie, Camille, Gina to mention some of his significant others. As the show ended David and Donna found their way back to each other and got married in the final episode. |
