     March 01, 1922 in Union Chapel Cemetery, Walker Co., GA.  He was the 
     son of William Akins, Jr. and Mary Quartermus.  He married 
     Sarah Ellen Watson January 18, 1856 in Guntersville, Marshall Co., AL.

     Mary Quartermus March 17, 1819 in Athens, Clark Co., GA.

     March 04, 1784 in Charlotte, Mecklinburg Co., NC.  She was the 
     daughter of Stephen McCorkle and Ann Forbes.
