Home of Joy (Project L.I.F.E.) Chiang Mai

The National Economic and Social Development Board reports that by the year 2005, there will be over 232,000 children under age 15 orphaned by AIDS. 73,000 of them will be under 5 years of age. By mid 2002, Home of Joy will be open to take in some of those young ones looking for love and care in a family environment. Home of Joy will be set up, family style, in individual houses to ensure that each child will receive individual care and attention, with a commitment to care for that child till adulthood.

Currently, we are in need of staff who will commit to 6 months or longer to hold, hug, play with and care for children 5 years of age and under.

We are also in need of:
- yard workers
- financial supporters for Home of Joy
- financial supporters for our Thai staff
- prayer partners

If you have a love for children and a desire to work in urban missions,
please contact us to see how you can get involved!
