YWAM Music

YWAM Music is a ministry of Youth With A Mission (YWAM). YWAM Music is the licensed distributor for Word Music, Maranatha Music, Hillsong Australia and Integrity Music in Thailand. Our purpose for distributing music tapes is to minister to the Christian community in Thailand. We do this by providing Christian music tapes and other products related to worship at affordable prices. At the same time, we are able to raise funds for Project Life Foundation, as well as other ministries both within YWAM Thailand and outside of the YWAM family..

The Project Life Foundation

The Project L.I.F.E. Foundation is a ministry of Youth With A Mission through which we provide homes for girls under the age of 16 who are wanting to leave prostitution, a sponsorship program providing funds for the education of children living in slums, and income generating projects for poor families living in rural areas.

Music Distribution

Through marketing research and the sampling of music, we select titles to be released in Thailand. These selections are based upon what is desired by the Christian community. The majority of the music we distribute in Thailand is praise and worship music, but we are also trying to introduce Contemporary Christian Artists as well.

Once selections are made, the process of manufacturing begins. This involves making layouts by computer, having tape covers printed, having the tapes manufactured, delivering the tapes to the distribution point, sending out samples, promotion, and final delivery to Christian book stores and churches all over Thailand.

Staff Needs

Do you have a heart for music? Are you gifted in the area of administration? If so, we would like to extend an invitation to you to consider joining us in this ministry. We are in need for individuals who have the desire and ability to minister in sales and promotion of Christian music.

Responsibilities include:

1. Making layouts for tapes and promotional ads by computer.
2. Communicating with music companies in the USA and communicating to printers, tape manufacturers, distributors, bookstores and churches in Thailand.
3. Bookkeeping and sales report generating.

Basic requirements:

1. The completion of a YWAM Discipleship Training School.
2. Willingness to study the Thai language for one year.
3. A minimum commitment of 2 years.
