CraftGen lets you make random warcraft maps and it has many options such as: reverse the
land and water, build on sand option, and more! Craftgen is $15 shareware. With the
shareware version you can only make 32x32 maps.

PUD Browser
PUD Browser is a PUD viewer which lets you view PUD files at full screen size. PUD
Browser was created to fill in the gap that Blizzard left out in the editor. You can view puds at
full size and you can even print them!
Puddle
Puddle is a pud utility. It lets you Rotate PUD maps in 90 degree increments, flip the pud
map along the x or y axis, save the pud map as a Windows BMP file, batch process folders
of PUDs, display the internal PUD format as a chunked hex dump, compare two puds and
highlight the differences in the hex dump, etc. It has many other features that will be released
in the final version. Puddle only works with Windows 95.
War2Unit
I don't know to much about this file. Apparently it lets you edit units and do all sorts of other
kewl things.
War2x Editor
The best PUD editor! Give mages dragon breath, make bridges that both land units and sea
units can cross, make caves that flying units can't enter, use the swamp terrain and all the
expantion set heroes, and select among nearly a hundred AI types!
Wardraft 1.4a
WarDraft is a Win95 based utility made editing the data archives used in Warcraft II. These
archives include the builtin levels, pictures, sounds, texts and much more. Some of the
features already implemented are:

Repair your Buildings
This is a trick that I think is a must for every water scenario. In water Scenario's whoever
upgrades faster, and builds the Gnomish Submarine (Giant turtle) could win the scenario.
When a peasant (peon) is building a building like a barrack, get another peasant to repair it
and it will go so much faster. If you do this on water scenario's, you can have a submarine
before your opponent has a Gnomish Inventor (Goblin Alchemist)
