simply cornflakes
the fresh spring breeze of afternoon blows swiftly through the open window
caressing my morning meal
...cornflakes.
the sweet nectar of nothing crunches gently between my eccentric teeth and eager tongue
...cornflakes.
whose idea was it to create something so subtle and ethereal that it could wake the world in a simple crunch? something so wonderful that it could feed all the starving children of the world
with a simple bite? something that someone would think to write a simple tribute to in poem form?
