Toys

This is the toys section! On this particular page, you will find brief descriptions with pictures of the certain toys or product of Pokemon from Japan or in the U.S. I hope you also have a nice time looking at these merchandise!

These doll series are among the rarest of the Pokemon Friends collection. Availability in Japan has been extremely limited, much like it was for the series 3 plush toys. Once these are gone, they're gone! These should cost around $9.99 each.

A tiny, delightful comic book featuring everyone's favorite Monster--Pikachu! An 18-page comic printed in black-and-white and (of course!) yellow. Includes a lovely illustration of Pikachu dressed in a cowboy hat and gun holster! A marvelous little conversation piece. Published in 1988. (Text is in Japanese only.) The cost is around $8.95!

Now all of the best Pokemon songs are available on one beautifully packaged, officially licensed compact disc with a picture of Pikachu on top. This "picture" CD features full-color illustrations of several of the Monsters on the front, and is stored in a 32-page illustrated book with the titles, release dates and lyrics of all the songs. Features 13 tracks, including the opening and closing theme songs of the Japanese Pokemon television series, the opening theme song for the exciting "Pikachu the Movie--Pikachu's Summer Vacation" (which is available from Japanime on VHS video on Page 8 of this section), the title track of the "How to Draw" CD, the Team Rocket and Nyarth theme songs and more!

The cd with Charmander on it is a beautiful 2-disc boxed set contains sound bytes of descriptions from the Pocket Monsters Nintendo video game as well as other original bits of music. The discs are painted with beautiful full-color pictures of the Monsters, and the set also comes with a wall map of the Pocket Monsters city and stickers with which to personalize it. Already a collector's item. Get yours while they last.

Five tiny 2-inch stuffed toys (clockwise from upper left): Myu, Pikachu, Purin, Pipi and Hitogame. Comes boxed with a small packet of "ramune" candy pellets. This is a discontinued item that is sure to rise in value over the next few months.

Snap-together, molded color plastic models (no glue or paint required). Manufactured by Bandai. Each comes with a small packet of Japanese ramune candy pellets. This is around $9.45!

Set of three Pikachu rubberized plastic figurines, each measuring about 1.5 inches tall. The price is $17.95-&19.95!

Bandai has come up a winner with this fabulous five-piece model collection. The models connect together to form a miniature amusement park, one in which Pikachu surfs the waves and goes on a balloon ride, Zenigame enjoys a log ride, Hitokage plays on a swing and Mew goes in circles on a Monster Ball merry-go-round! A system of gears allows you to set the amusement park rides in motion! Each model comes with a fully painted Pokemon miniature (about one-inch tall). These figurines are almost exactly the same as those sold in the collectible Full-Color Stadium series.

These cute, three-inch-tall plastic figurines speak their Japanese names. Zenigame is sound-activitated, while Pikachu speaks when held in the palm of your hand. Pikachu's red cheeks also light up when speaking. These are around $19.99 each! Sweet.

Super Action Blastoise And Charizard are the best I have ever seen as a merchandise in Japan! These large, fabulous snap-together models do some amazing stunts! Kamex opens and closes his mouth as he walks and swings his arms. Don't get in his way, though, or he'll shoot you with the plastic-pellet filled cannons built into his sturdy shell! Lizardon is equally fierce, with his tail and tongue lighting up to ward off all who may cross his path! These models are easy to assemble (no glue required) and come fully painted. Kamex stands seven inches tall, while Lizardon towers eight inches in height. Manufactured by Tomy, one of Japan's leading Pokemon merchandisers.
