• My family came from Marshall Co. AL
• Descendant of Richard
• Descendant of Mary Laney
• They married in Morgan County AL in 1838
• Their son. Alexander was my grandfather
• Alexander married Narcissus Clemons
• They married in Limestone County AL
• Their son, Henry Eaton was my great grandfather
• He married Susan Elizabeth Stedham
• They are buried in Maple Hill Cem.
• Edward Benson Black was one of their many children
• He died Oct. 6, 1998 in Gurley. AL
• He had married Ozell Peace
• Ozell was born with the name of Little Girl Peace
• They had four sons
• Walter Lee Black SR. was my father
• He married Ruth Eikstadt in Germany while he was stationed there in the ARMY
• They had five children
• One of which is me, Jeanette
• I married Tony Thomas
• We have two sons.
• My family is spread over the southern parts of the USA
