The members of this faction are recruited for their unscrupulous trading practices. The merchants are charged with obtaining the best price for goods sold by guild members any means possible; maintaining a secret armory for the guild for use during the time of WAR; as well as being the purse strings of the Clan. Members of this faction are specialist in trades of Smithing, Alchemy, Arms and armor dealing, treasure hunting, carpentry and generally any trade that can generate gold. Lead by The Merchant Lord of Hell, who shall set the standards for the Clan’s trade practices, shall finance all the guilds needs. ***DRESS CODE: Black Kilt, Purple Sash, Black Thigh Boots, Purple Cape over Bone Armor. Master Merchant of Hell Master Alchemist of Hell Master Smith of Hell Merchant of Hell* Alchemist of Hell* Smith of Hell* Merchant of Hell, Alchemist of Hell and Smith of Hell are all of the same rank and can be multiple position. Merchant of Hell can be a tailor, carpenter, Bowyer etc. The Merchant Lord, Master Merchant, Master Alchemist, Master Smith shall form The Trade Counsel of Hell. 1. The Merchant Lord shall designate each faction member to keep the Clan vendors stock with certain items at least 3 times a week (May be broken out to smaller quantities more often). The goods required must be delivered to The Merchant Lord for placing on the vendors. 2. All proceeds from the sale of goods through designated Clan Vendors shall be returned to member who provided the goods, less a 25% commission of profit to be put towards Clan’s Purse. 3. All pricing on Vendors shall be set by The Trade Counsel of Hell to be competitively priced. As well ensure a profit for the faction member, even after the 25% commission. Faction members are required to submit their cost in making the goods (This cost will be checked by The Trade Counsel). 4. All Clan members are encouraged to place their Vendors in the Clan Trade Hall. Their pricing shall not undercut the designated pricing set by The Trade Counsel of Hell. All members are expected to donate 25% towards the main Clan purse. This is done by honor system, and spot checked by The Trade Counsel. The Merchant Lord shall keep track and approve placement of vendors. Any members found price undercutting the Clan’s pricing shall be reported to The Overlord for Clan disciplinary action and vendor ejected. 5. All clan members are encouraged to donate items for sale by the Clan Vendors and to be housed in the Clan Armory. The Armory shall be Accessed by The Black Council only. Any usage of items from the Armory shall be reported to The Merchant Lord for replacement. Usage of the Armory is restricted to times of WAR and re-equipping a fallen Clan member in times of need. ***It is not for grabbing because you are too lazy to get your stuff from the BANK. 6. The Merchant Lord will organize weekly dungeon crawl or treasure hunt for the purpose of collecting loot to be sold by the Clan vendors. Half of all loot collected on such trip is to be used for selling goods on the vendors, and selected items collected in the Clan Armory for use in time of WAR, or to re-equip a fallen member who needs help getting started again. All clan members are encouraged to attend, as this can be a lot of fun and profitable for all. The Rules are set up very loosely, and a lot based on Honor System. We are a CLAN, and if we can’t be honorable with each other, who the HELL can we be honorable with???
