The Interior

Seating
The Silverado has many different options available for seating. You can choose from the 40/20/40 Split-Bench Seat or the Reclining Bucket Seats. You can choose from leather or cloth for both. If you decide to buy an extended or crew-cab truck, all of the rear seating is the bench seat

The Vortec 6000 V8 SFI engine in Silverado 1500HD, 2500, 2500HD and 3500 models is more powerful than the standard engines in heavy-duty pickups from Ford and Dodge. Equip your Silverado 2500HD or Silverado 3500 with the available Big Block Vortec 8100 V8 and get more horsepower and torque than V10 engines from Ford and Dodge. Or equip your 2500HD or Silverado 3500 with the Duramax Diesel 6600 V8, the engine that delivers more horsepower than diesel engines on F-Series and Ram pickups. Harness either of these two available engines up to the available Allison 1000 Series transmission and you'll really haul.
