EPISODE 12: Bad Eggs: A high school parenting project intended to show the students just how difficult parenting is turns bad when the eggs the students have been given to look after begin to hatch. Inside the eggs are crawly Bezoars which attatch to their human hosts and tun them into zombie slaves harvesting more eggs. but Buffy discovers that her egg is rotten and along with Xander who hard boiled his egg, they are the only two unaffected. Their task is made all the more complicated when Lyle and tector Gorch-a pair of tough cowboy vampires turn up-and atttack Buffy while she is trying to free her friends from the Mother Bezoars control. Both Tector and Buffy are subsequently sucked into the Mother Bezoars slimy pit.....

EPISODE 13: Surprise: It's Buffy's Birthday and some things never change-the fate of the world is at stake as Spike and Drusilla gather the body of the Judge, an immortal Daemon so evil that he was dismembered and his parts spread across the far corners of the Earth to keep him from terrorising the planet ever again. Meanwhile Miss Calender is visited by her gypsy uncle, who instructs to insure that Angel, the vampire that killed her ancestor, keeps his cursed soul intact. With gypsies plotting the end of her love-life and vampires plotting the end of her life, and her friends planning the surprise party of her life' Buffy intercepts a box containig on of the Judge's arms. Calender suggests that Angel take the box to Asia to keep the Judge from being reanimated. As Angel is about to board the ship, Spike's minions overpower Buffy and Angel, to reclaim the arm. Exhausted from the day's events, Buffy and Angel go back to his place and give in to their desires. Having now experienced a moment of true happiness , Angel awakens in pain crying out Buffy's name.

EPISODE 14: Innocence: Buffy's night with Angel has extinguished his human soul and restored him to a blood thirsty vampire. Even the daemonic Judge can find no trace of decency in him as Angel rampages, leavind Buffy in tears and almost biting Willow. Meanwhile, Giles' relationship with Miss Calender is severed when her gypsy ties to Angel are exposed, and Willow is crushed when she discovers that Xander ahs been seeing Cordelia. Saving the world takes precedence however as Xander reverts back to his Halloween guise to gather the military hardware to stop the Judge.

EPISODE 15: Phases: Hairy, smelly, rude and a ravenous appetite-may sound like a typical teenage boy. Unfortunately the teenager in question is a also a werewolf who is terrorizing the town and no-one is quite sure who it is. While a loudmouth called Larry seems to be the best candidate, Xander uncovers his sensitive side and so takes him off the list of suspects. Aside from some bad manners and some property damage, the Werewolf turns out to be innocent and also Willow's new boyfriend Oz. It is actually vampires that have been slimming down the population of Sunnydale. The race is then on to save Oz from a werewolf poacher, bu they have to find him first.

EPISODE 16: Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered: When Cordelia eventually succumbs to the peer presure of her mates and dumps Xander on Valentine's day, he then turns to Amy Madison-a witch-to help him get even. He then convinces Amy to cast a spell which will make Cordelia fall madly in love with him. Unfortunately, as is always the way the spell ends up misfiring, and every woman in Sunnydale apart from Cordelia begin to see Xander in a new light. His obssesive admirers include Willow, Miss Calender, Buffy, Buffy's mom and Drusilla, who will stop at nothing to have him-even if they have to kill him.

EPISODE 17: Passion: Angel's obssesion with driving Buffy mad gets all the more risky when he starts striking closer to her heart and home. His acts range from-sneaking into Buffy's bedroom and sketching her, telling Buffy's mom that he'd slept with her daughter and killing Willow's fish. When Angel discovers that Miss Calender is attempting to translate a spell to enable her to restore his soul, Angel shows up at the school, destroys her computer, burns the printout and vicously snaps her neck and then depositing the corpse in Giles' bed. When Giles finds the body, he snaps. Devestated by the news, Buffy and the gang rush to Giles' home, but he has already left to exact his Revenge on Angel. What goes unnoticed however is that the backup disc containing the spell Jenny was deciphering is sitting behind her desk.

EPISODE 18: Killed By Death: Buffy's slaying skills are reduced by a nasty strain of the flu bug that has half the school under the weather. Weakened by a skirmish with Angel' her friends manage to chase the vampire away and take the nearly unconcious Buffy to hospital. Afraid of hospitals since the death of her cousin Celia, Buffy's recuperation is furthered hampered by the appearance of a ghostly creatur named the Kindestod, who feasts on sick children-the only people besides Buffy that can actually see him. realising that it was Kindestod who killed her cousin Celia, Buffy swallows a dose of the virus to induce the feverish state that allows her to see the otherwise invisible monster before he can kill anymore innocent children.

EPISODE 19: I Only Have Eyes for You: As the Sadie Hawkins dance draws ever closer, disturbingly similar lover's quarels are becomig homicidal. Piecing the crime together through day dreams, Buffy deduces that it is a poltergeist reenacting the events of a murder suicide brought about by a student teacher relationship gone wrong in 1955. When the teacher ended the relationship, the obssesive young lover pulled a gun and shot them both. With his tortured spirit trapped in the school until his tortured soul is granted forgiveness. Giles leads an attempt at exorcising the ghost, but the gang is driven off and the school sealed by a swarm of wasps. When a strange voice summons Buffy back to the school, the ghosts use her and Angel as unwitting vessels to reenact the final murderous confrontation. With it's goal achieved the ghost is freed, leaving Angel and Buffy suprised and disturbed to find themselves in each other's arms again.

EPISODE 20: Go Fish: For the first time in 15 years, Sunnydale is on the verge of becoming state champions in something bar most deaths in one town. With the help of some steroid aromatherapy, the swimming team has been blowing the competition right out of the water. So Xander goes undercover as the newest member of the swim team, discovering the side-effect of the performance enhancer is that it turns the swimmers into slimy black fishmen. When Buffy confronts Coach Marin about his swimmming team's bizarre condition, he tries to turn her into fish food.

EPISODE 21: Becoming Part 1: During this episode Angel's past is revealed, from when he was bitten in Ireland, to his torturing of Drusilla in England, and the restoration of his soul by the gypsies in Romania, to living in the gutters of Manhattan. Though as his past is filled in, he staels an ancient sarcophagus with the power to such the whole of the world into hell. As Willow discovers the disc containing the spell to Restore Angel's soul, Buffy has already set out to destroy him. While en route to stop his evil plan all hell is let loose as Drusilla kills Kendra, who had been sent to help Buffy, Giles is kidnapped, Xander and Willow are injured and Buffy is then framed for the murder of Kendra.

EPISODE 22: Becoming Part 2: Not only is Buffy in charge of saving the world from becoming sucked into hell, she is also now on the run. While Giles is tortured into revealing the final part of the spell to open the portal to Hell, Buffy forms an alliance with Spike to get rid of Angel, who is not best pleased with the competition for Drusilla's attentons from Angel. The two come up with a plan back at Buffy's house where she dusts off avampire right in front of her shoched mother. Rushing to the manshion Spike knocks out Drusilla and drags her away with him. Buffy meanwhile gains the upper hand aainst Angel just as Willow completes the spell to restor his soul, but not before he has time to open the portal that only his blood can now close...
