The Snowmobile was first made for work in the winter to be made easer. If you look around to day there are maybe 2-5% of snowmobiles doing just that. all the people who do the work with thire sled are people running in to the bush to bring back barles of sap to make maple syurp, or delivering the mail, thier are many uses. Back in the mid 60's to the early 70's Ski-Doo came out with a real work horse that can also be used for fun. The answer to farmers prayers across Canada and the United States, the Ski-Doo Olympique. May it be used for work or play, this machine did it all.
The Ski-Doo Alpine and the Olympique would take ski-doo in to the 70's. after droping the Alpine in the early 70's, Ski-doo rode the Olimpique un-till 1979.
In 2000 Ski-Doo came out with a project sled that never made it to showroom floors. This machine was the new Olimpque with the old style hood but an entirly new ride system ski-doo made a mean looking machine. (You can View the 2000 Olympique in my pictures)
