Radio and Television Hong Kong has chosen Cheung Kwok Wing's past RTHK television series, valuable sound recording footage and the only movie he has directed to relive this show business superstar's past glory with the audience. At the same time, RTHK's web site will create a Leslie Cheung page so everyone can recall Cheung Kwok Wing's moving singing and outstanding acting.  (a) Gor Gor has always been passionate about acting and directing. The only work that he has written, directed and acted in, television movie FROM ASHES TO ASHES (YIN FEI YIN SAN), was a collaboration with Radio Two Hong Kong and Hong Kong Smoking and Health Commission. Its cast included Anita Mui Yim Fong, Karen Morris (Mok Man Wai), Deanie Yip Tak Han, Alexander Wang Leehom (Wong Lik Won) and Qi Qi. This anti smoking film unveiling the real ugly face of smoking to young people. The community minded Gor Gor was active in promoting health information to his fans and chose this subject to be his directorial debut. RTHK has arranged for the film to air on ATV Local on April 5, Cable's Movie Channel 2 on April 4 and 5. Gor Gor's 1980 RTHK series THE YOUNG CONCUBINE (NGOR GA DIK NUI YUN) will air on ATV Local on April 6. The show won the 1980 16th Annual Chicago International Film Festival Gold Prize and the 1st Annual British Commonwealth Film and Television Festival Silver Prize.        (4/4/2003) Two nights ago Universal Hong Kong chief Chan Siu Bo appeared on TVB's Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing memorial program. He mentioned that Gor Gor liked to use English titles for his records.   Gor Gor was the one who suggested the record title for his 1988 release VIRGIN SNOW, which was from Don McLean's song VINCENT. Don McLean was one of Gor Gor's favorite singers. When he competed in a singing contest he also sang a Don McLean song, AMERICAN PIE. Chan Siu Bo said he and Gor Gor have talked about the song VINCENT. The song was written for Vincent van Gogh. Chan Siu Bo felt one of the verses, "You took your life as lovers often, I could have told you, Leslie (originally Vincent), there's no one in the world as beautiful as you..." properly described Gor Gor. He said Gor Gor really enjoyed helping people, whether they accept it or not.    Teresa Mo : Gor Gor's First Love ?                 It had always made known that Teresa Mo and Gor Gor were once an item. As close as they are, they never get to make it together as husband and wife.......but they had always remain friends , good friends.Their chemistry are unmistakable....which is easily spotted if you had watch some of the series of All Wells End Wells, which in the 90's used to be the "movie" to watch during Chinese New Year.  (4/4/03)        Teresa Mo Shu Kwan yesterday returned to her morning radio program. "He was like a sibling to me. My daughters call him Little Uncle. When it happened the three of us were all crying. Yesterday I mourned all day at home. This morning although I still haven't accepted this fact, when I heard Gor Gor's songs I remember everything that he has said to me, highlight of his life, but I feel I need to be strong and face the facts. I know everyone who knew Gor Gor is beyond heart broken, but we need to be strong and bravely face this."         (a) Sandra Ng Kwan Yu said on her radio program after taking a day off, "I really missed this friend and I am very sorry." She said that not everyone can control certain inner demons, so no one can judge what Gor Gor did. (4/4/2003)    Karena Lam Ka Yun broke down at a radio interview yesterday because she appreciated how well Gor Gor has treated her.  Karena :   "I remember one time we went to Macau for the movie. I mistakenly heard that we were taking a helicopter there. When I got there I found we were taking the                  hovercraft, so I asked, 'Aren't we taking a helicopter?'  Gor Gor heard and said, 'Do you want to take the helicopter?'"  Then he arranged for a helicopter ride. Lately you have been very "lucky", winning tens of thousands, but friends who know you know that your etiquette was very great. One time you were missing One Dot to win, I gave it to you, but you couldn't find the hand you won with and it turned out I drew from your hand! Back then everyone could not stop laughing.
