Houllier Shows Interest in Viera

1 JULY 2001:

Due to the Rumours about Viera wanting to leave Arsenal and "Wants to join a club that can at Least win Cups." according to Viera Himself. Houlier has admitted he likes the way Viera plays. Houlier said this Yesterday: "I'm aware of speculation. Any player of his quality interests a club as big as Liverpool. Are we interested? My previous statement answers that."

Speculation suggests Viera will sell at £ 20 -30 Million... If he has to Leave Arsenal.
