Announcements and Updates
This page is where I will put any important announcements or updates concerning this site. When I have something new here I will put something to that affect on the main page so you don't have to check this page all the time.
First of all I would like to say thank you to all the people who have visited my site since it opened in June of 1998. I have made a lot of changes as far as the look of the site (backgrounds, colors, etc..) since then based on some comments from some people who visited my site. The basic structure of the site won't change a lot but don't be surprised if you see some new backgrounds every once in a while. This is just a personal quirk of mine. I just like to change the look of things to keep it interesting
The latest on renewal: 10-6-01
Well as most of you know NBC did not renew the series for a 5th season. TNT has already aired the first 2 hour movie and will be airing another called Island of the Haunted sometime in December. You can still continue to catch re-runs of the series on TNT each night at 7/6c. Also, some local stations are showing re-runs but you will need to consult your local listings for stations and times.

Still no official word when TNT will begin showing a series of 2 hour movies. However, I do have word that TNT will begin showing re-runs of the series beginning August 21 at 10/9c. For a complete schedule vist TNT's Pretender Site

TNT and FOX are still in negotiations for TNT to purchase the first run rights to the show. Things are looking pretty good and as soon as I hear anything official I will pass the word on. Remember beginning this fall TNT will begin showing re-runs of the first four seasons. I'll post more specific information as it becomes available.

The person who was maintaining the keeper site for all the other characters is no longer going to be doing that. So I have created a keeper site for all the minor characters, guest stars and recurring characters. You can claim keeperships for Kyle, Angelo, Mr. Parker, Mr. Raines and other characters. Announcement for 4-25-99
Due to a lot of recent questions from some Pretender fans in Italy I thought I would answer their questions here. Nobody important died in the explosion at the end of season 2. The only person who died was the sweeper, Gar. Season 3 is almost over here in the States. Also, The Pretender has been renewed for a 4th season. I hope that answers all of your questions about the end of season 2 and the renewal of the series.

Frequency of Updates
I will try to have all of the keeper requests that were granted posted on the list before the airing of the episode on Saturday night. Right now I am trying to update the site on a daily basis but that may not always be the case. I will always update it at least once a week. I usually respond to requests within a day or so of recieving them but sometimes they may not actually get posted until later. If it has been a week since you have made a request and you haven't heard from me and/or you don't see your item on the list, please let me know. It is possible that I overlooked you and if you bring it to my attention I will correct the problem immediately.

It has been a really long time since the last major update. I'm always adding keeperships as they come in but I finally got around to doing some major work on the page. I've made sure everyone is listed in the main list so it should be easier to see if your keepership has been added without going to each individual page. I've also removed any inactive links. Maybe it won't be so long until my next major update. :-)

Yes I know it has been a long time since I've last updated anything. Real life got in the way for a while and maintaining the site was not a priority for a while. I have updated the keeper lists and I've added a few pictures here and there. I've also checked out the links and removed any dead links and added a few new ones.

I finally got around to updating the page that lists all of the keeperships on the site

I have added two new links. A site called T.J.'s Pretender Corner, which has some really cool downloads, and a Yahoo! Club for Jon Gries called Jon's Studio. Both of these have the new icon to make them easy to find.

I've added another link. It's called Miss Parker's Sweet Rewards. Lydia and Wendy (aka the B_twins)have done an excellent job of presenting some good .wav files. Check it out!!
I have also re-linked The site for Amir Abuela (Gar) which is now official. Congratulations Ana on becoming official.

For those of you who have asked that I put up more pictures I have granted your wish. Thanks to my Argentian friend, a German friend and a little net surfing I have added quite a few pictures and I still have some more to put up so be on the look out for more.
I have also added a link to a Pretender site called Project Prodigy created by a German Pretender fan. Good job Christine!!!

I have created an FAQ page with Frequently Asked Questions, a list of commonly requested keeperships that are already claimed and a few tips on keeping.

OK some of the lists have become quite lengthy so I have made two more categories (Memorable Moments and Personality Traits). Some of the existing keeperships may have been relocated because of this.

I also made note of the fact that today is Mr. Denton's birthday. According to him at his chat on the 15th he will be 36.

I've cleaned up some of the side pages (credits,form,directions,etc..).
I have also added backgrounds that I created with PSP 5 to all of the pages. I changed some of the backgrounds I added on 11-26. They should be lightened enough for you to easily read the text. Please let me know what you think by e-mailing me or signing my guestbook. I depend on your feedback to make this page better.

I checked out all my links and fixed a few broken links. I noticed that the Pretender Training Site no longer exists. If someone knows if this page is still being maintained and where it has moved to please let me know.
I've also finished putting my backgrounds on all the keeper pages. I just hate bare walls. Let me know what you think about the backgrounds.

I have added a new page called Keeper List. This a page where I have placed all of the keepers in a table so you can see what everyone is keeping. So now you have a choice of viewing all of the keeper items or viewing the keepers in the various categories. There is a link to this page on the navigation bar on each page.
Also, I would like to note that the MTW chat scheduled for October 28 was cancelled. I will put an announcement on the main page when I find out when it is rescheduled.

I have added a new section to my links page for other actors on tP. Included are sites for Ashley Peldon, Jonathan Osser, Ryan Merriman, Jamie Denton and Jeffery Donavan. Also, Deb's PB Fan site is now in this catergory.
I also noted some sites that have updated recently. Check out the TV guide pic on Reese's site and the process for registering for the Yahoo chat with AP and MTW on Cyn's site.
You may also notice I have provided a link on my main page to Yahoo for more information on the upcoming AP and MTW chats.

I have added a new link to the Links page. It's called The Red Files and it is one of the most comprehensive tP sites I have seen so far. The webmistress Cynthia wants the site to be the place where you can get all the info on tP and it looks like she has accomplished that.
Also, I made note of the fact that Deb has added some screen captures from the promos for the premiere to her PB Fan Site.
I don't really like to rate pages because I realize that I may not like the same things as everyone else. However, in an effort to help those who are new to tP, I made note of those pages that I think are particualrly helpful. You can find a yellow star next to those pages that I think are really worth the visit.

Limit of Keeper Items
Right now (as of 1-11-99) I am limiting keeperships to 8 items. I am new at this website thing so I need a little time to get comftorable with it and get in the hang of organizing all the requests. Also, I want to make it fair so everybody will have something to keep. If I didn't put a limit then someone may be keeping as many as 10 items which would deplete the number of available items for others. This way everyone is keeping the same number and it's fair to everyone. In the future I will increase the number of items you can keep. If you want me to notify you of this by e-mail let me know.
Other Keeper Sites
Most of the main characters have a site dedicated to them (Jarod, MP, Sydney, and Broots). Deb Stewart has created a keeper loop to connect all of the Pretender keeper sites. Thanks Deb!!
Mare has created a keeper page for Michael T. Weiss (Jarod).
The 2 e-mail addys
I set up an account through hotmail to handle all of the keeper requests so they wouldn't get lost in my regular mail. I would prefer that you send keeper requests to this account and any questions etc.. to the other account. However, don't worry if you send it to the "wrong" account. It's not a problem and I won't even say anything. I just did this as a convience for me and to keep all of the keeper requests together.
