In particular its activity promotes the search and the safeguard of artistic,
historical, archaeological, bibliographical, archivistical patrimony
of Liguria and its territory.

- 1990 Convention "Liguria da scoprire.Incontri culturali estivi sul territorio".
- Shots, development, and print of images of artistic objects for the
History Institute of the Art of the Studies' University of Genoa.
- Scheduling art works ( paintings, frescoes, tablets, liturgical vestments,
church furnishings, furniture) on models " OA " for the 'Soprintendenza'
for the Artistic and Historical Heritage of the Liguria in Churches of the city
center of Genoa.
- Scheduling the architectonic patrimony (ecclesistical and civil
buildings) on models " A " for the 'Soprintendenza' for the
Environmental and Architectonic Heritage of the Liguria in the
Commonones of Vallecrosia (IM), Recco, Moconesi, Cicagna, Coreglia
Ligure, Lorsica (GE).
- Inventory of the protected architectonic and artistic patrimony
(of religious, civil, military type), in the Province of La Spezia,
on behalf of the 'Soprintendenza' for the
Environmental and Architectonic Heritage of Liguria.
- Realization of tourist panels.
- Realization on behalf of the Italian Ministry for the Arts and Environment,
the plan "Anagrafe informatizzata degli Archivi Italiani"
near the Archives of State of Genoa ( census on computer
support of several typologies of the archives
existing in the Italian
territory).
SCIENTIFIC RESOURCES
JANUA ARS takes advantage from the job of expert in history
of the art, archaeology, architecture, latin paleography,
archive-keeping, diplomatics, and economy of library, the greater part
of which followed relative courses of professional
formation to catalogue with the use of computers; many of them collaborated
with Italian and foreign Universities and private and publics cultural agencies,
and, are moreover authors of numerous publications. The Society takes
advantage moreover from computer science for the elaboration of the
acquired scientific data and the support of photographers for the
iconographic part.
