PARRISH, ALABAMA POLICE DEPARTMENT
This Parrish, Alabama Police Department patch is a new design which was manufactured and sent to the Parrish Police Department on October 10th of 1998. The design is a custom made design drawn by members of the Parrish Police Department. An interesting detail of the patch is the initials M.E.P. found just under the Eagle Head and next to the Hornet's Nest. These are the initials of the Chief of Police and, to my knowledge, the Initials were not approved by the department or the City of Parrish to go on the patch. I have seen the sketch that was sent to the embroiderer and the initials are Not on the sketch!! I was told that the Cheif personally called the manufacturer and added the initials just before production began. It is a beautiful and Unique patch and, with the initials, will become a valued collectors item. Other than the Parrish Police Department, I am the Only source for obtaining these patches direct from the embroiderer. I can get this patch for you for $5.00US plus shipping.
