~Golden-Oldies~

I was stting at home with nothing to do when my son came and said I have something for you.
Off to K Mart we went and what did I see, a thing on the shelf called a Web TV.
I picked up the box and a keyboard to, and he said "this will be just the thing for you.
We brought it home and plugged the darn thing in,didn"t know where to begin.
I sat down in the chair , read all the books, decided it wasn"t as hard as it looked.
It flashed on the screen made noises to. I saw chat and thought I"d browse for a minute or two.
My eyes opened wide at what I saw you could do.
Ran across "Golden Oldies" bet there"s music in there.So I leaned back and got comfortable in my chair.
I get in the room and what did I see, a bunch of names saying "Hi" to me.
There was a "Bug" and a "Moon" and a "Shadow" too,so many names I didn"t know what to do.
There was a lady named Doris who seemed to be boss she told someone to behave or to get lost.
A real friendly soul she seemed to be she even said Welcome" to me.
There was CD and Jett and Jojo too and a guy named Herc the Hunk I didn"t know what to do.
I waited for music and none did appear, instead Aj offered a beer.
Sitting and watching I saw with my eyes a bunch of friends with very strong ties.
I go back every nite and we laugh, sing and cry, don"t know how I did ever get by.
I talk to people all over the states and Ana in England it"s just great.
Thanks to my friends for all that you do, you keep me laughing and never blue.
I didn"t find music but I found much more, a room full of friends that I adore.
Thanks to all my friends in "golden Oldies" you have brought much joy to my life.
