Rules:
Basic:
Basic rules are as follows, you may not and can not cheat, or try to thwart the editor of the page or any other into making them do something to your character that benefits you in any way shape or form. Don't even try it. Zero Tolerance. When choosing a character for the RPG, you cannot modify that character. For example you may not choose FUTURE Trunks, but only Trunks. If you violate this rule when you apply, you will be forfeited your rights to join. I will discard the message. All images on my page may be taken EXCEPT for my world maps, those are my sacred possessions. My ideas are sacred to me as well, although DBZ, XG, BOF, FF don't belong to me, this RPG does.
Training:
Training isn't what you think it is, this isn't a type a line for 20 hp type deal. This RPG's training happens weekly, every player gains 2 levels a week, once on wed, and once on sun. Confused? you should be, but it's really simple, you don't do ANYTHING, all you have to do is BE HERE! Remember on Sun and Wed to post your updates on the Update Board, 2 posts a week max, if you post others, you will get stats deducted.
To train here, you don't really "type lines" or "type battles" hell, you don't even type! you gain 20 exp points a week, 10 on Sunday, 10 on Wednesday, for doing this.
Levels 1-20
need 10 exp points to go up a level
Levels 21-49 need 20 exp points
Levels 50-100 need 30 exp points.
After your done, please notify me on the Update Board. By doing this
in this order. If one of these HASN'T changed, don't put it on here.
Character Name
Record (0-0, 0-1 etc.)
HP: #
MP: #
KI/ETHER/MP: #
ITEMS: ???
TRANSFORMATION ???
Gil or G: #
INT: (Bought Move #, Price of Move, Left over INT) #
If you screw up on these, it won't be updated.
If one of these hasn't changed, leave it blank.
Battling:
When we battle in this RPG, you wait until a trained referee arrives, there will be a board for you to post on to say you request to battle, the referees will respond and be there at your match, if for some reason they are not there, check up on the board again, make sure they couldn't make it.
Battling in our RPG is Turn Based, in other words, you attack, they attack, you attack they attack. There are moves that you can use to forfeit their turn, and give you 2 shots in a row, or so on, these are all explained at the status effects page
After every attack, the defender loses HP equivalent to the D or Damage that the technique does. HP is hit points, these are explained lower. Some attacks are so strong they require MP, or Magic Power to be used. KI, Magic Power, and Ether and Power are all the same. They are a measure of mental strength, and when you use a strong attack, they go down by however much the attack says. Obviously, when a fighters HP reaches 0, he/she loses the match, and goes to Hell/Heaven. Remember, a referee MUST be at your match for you to have a declared winner, you may however, "fake fight" that person if you two are just bored sick, nothing results, but your happiness.
Moves:
Move #'s are at the moves page, and this is the tricky part, INT or Intelligence, is used to "buy" moves/techniques that you want to add on to your arsenal. INT is gained when you win or lose a battle, and when you level up. You may also gain INT from items that are sold in the Ultimate Shop. Your character should have MOVE: 1,2,3,4,5 or something like that, those numbers are the attacks that your character has at this moment. Study your moves, know their weaknesses. Remember... if there is longer than a 1 minute delay of a turn in a battle, it is forfeited. This is to not prolong battles. Thank you!
|
Moves are given out specially to special groups, look to the
moves section
for what moves your character has. (SOME MOVES DO
STATUS EFFECTS TO LEARN ABOUT THOSE, CLICK
HERE) Your
character should have a section called Moves, then it has numbers by it,
these numbers are the number for the move's) that you own. If you have
1, 2, 3, 4 and your a
Final Fantasy character, you have Cure 1,
Cure2, Cure 3, and Full Cure, the moves section has everything you
should need to know to fight. You will notice INT is by moves, you get INT
as you level up as well, INT is used to "Purchase" moves, by doing this,
you get a better variety of attacks, and therefore stand a better chance
in battle. Remember, some moves require a certain level to use!!!
MP moves can be used more than once, as long as they don't cure a status effect, or heal you. Also, if they do more than 2 status effects at once, they cannot be used 2 times. Team Only Moves can only be used in team fights one time a fight. Each one takes up a certain amount of Mp/Ki/Ether to use. They also have certain conditions in which you can use them. Each move can only be bought by a character from the series which the move is in. Team member's can share int to get the move, but they must be from the same series. (Ex. Sephiroth and Vincent share int to get Final Fantasy team only move.) Note: As people get inhumanly strong, there WILL be resets, just so everyone is at the same level again, you will lose all your moves, except your starting moves, all your INT, and HP and MP/ETHER/KI. Yes, I know it sounds horrible, but until I come up with a better solution your all going to have to abide by it. Also, you may not buy a move unless you are alive. And also, if you die while at a Master, you go to heaven/hell, and you DO NOT GO BACK TO THAT MASTER! Special moves may be used 1 time per fight, unless you have an item to restore it! |
| When you lose a fight, you "die"
when you "die" you go to the
Heaven/Hell section for 2 days (48
hours AFTER you lose the battle.) When you're dead, you may
SPAR with other dead people, or FIGHT a boss,
you get a reward for simply fighting a boss, you may only fight 1 boss,
and only 1 time per death, SPARRING is basically the same thing as
fighting except you cannot die. Hopefully, Losing this way will take out
the fear of dying. For more info on heaven/hell click Heaven/Hell info. Thanks |
By the way, the only purpose of having "levels" is to determine when you achieve your transformation
Transformations
No!!!!! They do NOT increase your special when you use them, they increase PHYSICAL ATTACKS ONLY! They also give you an HP boost, and an MP boost, this may be used any time per battle.
AP: Ap or attack power, is the life force of your physical assaults, each character starts off with 1 Ap point at the beginning of the battle. You can choose to "hold your turn and "charge up" and gain 1 AP point.
What AP does is multiply the PHYSICAL or SPECIAL attack by the number. So AP 0-1 don't do anything, AP 2 does x3, AP 3 does x3, and AP infinite does x5, to get AP infinite, hold your turn on AP 3.
Bosses:
Ah yes, what is an RPG without Bosses, Bosses are a little different, they are set up, and each player must defeat them before they can go on to the other boss, and so on, of course, each boss gets harder and harder, the first one to complete the boss test wins the RPG. If you die 3 times against the same boss, you go down and have to fight the last boss you beat. Note: Winning the RPG gives you bragging rights, but don't abuse them. And also, if you win the RPG, it's not over for everyone else. Winning the RPG gives you bragging rights, and that's it. There are about 20 bosses you will have to beat. You will be rewarded when you finish your quest.
Boss levels are given to you when you kill a boss, nothing happens when you beat a boss, except you level up, and you get 50 INT extra added on. When you lose a boss fight, nothing happens. Don't lose 3 times though, or you have to fight the last boss you fought (and you LOSE that old boss level!!!)
Message Board:
Needless to say, I would like to keep this site as clean as possible, anyone caught posting more than 5 profanities in one message will be warned once, then discharged. Also, if you put any racists, biased, or other discriminative posts against another player or worker, you are OUT, zero tolerance. The message board should be used as your tool to talk with your friends. Try to remain in your RPG character when you are there though. Pretend it's a game of charades. You may not post a message about beating another player into the dirt, it doesn't work well with the story line ;)
New in: If you type material that Dave or Marc finds offensive or condemns the RPG, it WILL be removed, we will not ask you.
Arena of War:
You will love this place, it holds everything you need to have a fun time on our RPG. This is the chat room, this is where are battles are fought, this is where all tournaments are held, and where all Blitzball matches go on. You are granted swearing rights, but try to remain mature. Refs are forbidden from swearing in the AOW, or on the message board. In my book, Hell and Damn aren't swearing, but B*TCH and F*CK are! wtf is permitted, so is omfg, and such, just don't say the real word. Do your best to have fun! you may say F*CK, but not the actual word, this is a PG rated zone. There will be no references to religion either.
Needless teasing of one person in the AOW, and you will be warned once, then discharged. I want everyone to have fun in my RPG, this is NOT the playground, you may NOT make another person feel bad by throwing insults at them, and making them feel lower then they are. I will not insult you, but if you insult someone else, or me, you will find yourself in a world of hurt.
Quests:
Quests are very complicated, and you shouldn't do them unless you really know what you are doing. This is where the horrid version of typing lines emerges. You will type lines to travel, type lines to get rewards, and type lines to receive GF's, or Guardian Forces (summon spells to help you in your quests). The quests are explained here.
MP/HP:
MP is magic power, it is used to shoot a spell or cast a defensive barrier.
HP is Hit Points, it is used to measure your health.
both of these plus INT (intelligence) increase when you level up win/lose a fight. If you don't understand these, don't join.
Other:
What you get when you.....
|
Win Fight |
Lose Fight |
Level Up |
Beat Boss |
| +2000 HP | +1000 HP | +750 HP | +3500 HP |
| +125 MP | +100 MP | +75 MP | +150 MP |
| +75 INT | +50 INT | +25 INT | +100 INT |
| +1500$ | +750$ | +500$ | +2000$ |
Don't call me Master, I hate that. Also, remember, I will not participate in this RPG, I am not biased, everyone will have fun. =)
