In each of us
lies a spark
A gift from the Matrix
fanned into this inferno
we call life.
Ripe for smothering
in this, the greatest of
wars
how can we stand by
and let it be extinguished?
The spark is the greatest
gift to give
but our enemy--and ourselves--are
oblivious to this fact.
Why must so many die?
So many fires forever extinguished...
Each time it happens,
a little part of ourselves
dies
For in the universe
we are one.
From one we came
and will return
It is the cycle of life
the way of things.
When a fire dies
all that ever remains
is a legacy of embers
little more...than a spark.
