The Great Harvest Prt. 1
It had now already been two years since the Kushan found their homeworld,
Higara, but as soon as they landed, trouble began. The Kushan did not
have enough resources to rebuild Higara, therefore they had to trade.
My name is Jace and I'm in charge of a recource collecting team. The
resource problem may have been bad for Higara, but we saw it as a way
to make money. Our team was small, but if we made profit, we might be
able to buy a carrier for recource collecting. We decided to mine in a
dence astroidfield near Higara...
"We are aproaching the astroidfield!" said Delph, my second in command.
"Prepare for launchi..." before I could finish, I realized we were headed
into a active astroid field. "Prepare for evasive manuevers, fire the mass
drivers!" I said not to long before an astroid almost blew of our wing.
"Taking to evasive action, captain!" said Delph. "Open fire on the astroid
closest to the ship!" "If any of those hit, were screwed!" After about
half an hour, we finnaly cleared the field. "Now, launch the resource collectors!"
It will probably take a while to get enough money together. "Captain, we are launching...
wait! Something is wrong, look out, Collector 2, stop launch now!" but it was
too late, the door had been jamed and the collector hit it, exploding up inside the hull!
"Captain, the whole hangar has been riped off! We're losing oxygen fast!" "Well, close the hole,
now!" Just what I needed, there goes 1,000,000 ru's of equiptment, plus we needed that
collector. "Captain, this was no accident, some body sabotaged the door
opening mechanism, one of us here is trying to stop our operation!"
