The food and entertainment was great. Hotel is very clean. Staff is
very nice. Like many resorts..Royal
Solaris is a time share resort. They classify it as a "VIP" type arrangement
with their hotel..but its time
share.
There are 2 restuarants you can make reservatin to eat. There is a limited
# of guest that can make
reservations, other seating is reserved for the "VIP" people or the
time share people that paid $10,000.
The other restuarants are served buffet style.
If you looked on the Royal Solaris web page and saw a picture of lobsters...there
are no lobsters at the
resort. When I called the 800# to make reservations, I asked specifally
if they had lobsters, I was told
yes. This too may have been reserved for the "VIP" persons.
Their web page also suggest mini bar in rooms...this too is reserved
for "VIP" persons. So everything is
catered to the people that "donate" money to keep the hotel running
with the time share scheme.
If you are going to swim on the beach...for get it!
The water is very cold and rough in the Pacific. If you want to relax...this
is the place to go.
