Taurus the Bull. Taurus is an Earth sign, therefore it is practical, materialistic and reliable. It comes in the Fixed group of Quadruplicities, demonstrating the dominant, persistent and stubborn qualities. Taurus is the second sign of the zodiac and has 'natural' rulership over the 2nd house. The second house showed how the young child learnt about possessions and ownership, and with that the introduction of values, self-worth, jealousy, envy and love. The Taurus traits follow along the same lines. The Taurean can be gentle, sentimental and generous, he can be methodical and organised, he is a hard and dedicated worker for the things he desires, whether those things are material goods, or emotional attachments. Like the yoked oxen, Taurus is slow and plodding, but will get the job done. Although the Taurean is possessive, it usually desires quality over quantity, as 'value' both emotionally and materially is at the core of this sign. Unfortunately the Taurean determination can cause him to be argumentative. Like all of the Fixed signs he has trouble admitting when he is mistaken, and will hold onto his opinions long after they have been proven to be wrong. Taurus can be selfish and possessive holding onto those things and people he feels are his tightly, which can be his undoing. Exercise 1) Look at your charts and find out which house has Taurus on its cusp
2) Put together 2 sentences (per chart) that unite Taurus with the houses.
What sort of home would he make for himself?
What was his nurturing parent like? |
