There's something in the water A South Coast compilation Released 18/07/03 - RC#03 What a brilliant name for a stunning south coast compalation ' There's something in the water ' is deffinetly what you might might think if you had never heard the wide selection of bands on the ever fast growning south coast scene, as the inlay sleeve basicly say's its self " not all the bands are hardcore, but there part of there scene". A nice if not bizzar mixture of bands , ranging from geeky emo , to insane metal/HCand back though it al again , if one thing its deffinatly a boring listen, the move from style to style works effectivly. Where to start with this fucking CD, 23 songs from some of the best bands on the south coast! chillerton - Prejudice/Discrimnation: Emotinal meaty music with husky vocals, some of the memebers are from the island , there not inbred you have to hear them! When All Else Fails - people not profit: Fast insane drumming , meaty riffs and growly vocals, stunning, there from portsmouth, they dont smell of fish, you have to hear them. No Skills Required- Luck one : Amazing upbeat pop punk , one of my favourite songs on the CD , sounds so much like the Ataris that it isnt funny , there from the island, there young and i could see them going far in the more mainstream side of the punk scene Ones and zeros- Dead end Chapters : Again another amazing pop punk band from the island, deffinatly the best track , even though whoever converted the audio file compressed it way to much , a terrible sound , but behinde that you can just clearly hear how good they are, with awesome emotinal vocals, deffinatly a band to look out for, if they can get of the island that is.
