FROM GOETHE TO CHAOS THEORY THE ADVENTURE OF SHADOW MAGICIAN

Mehpare Aksoy Yiğit who is an effort to reach a synthesis combining the plastic arts with the respect between the disciplines which is exist in the nature of screen arts, takes the spectators to an intuitive journey which is really difficult to describe, with the technical dimension and the aesthetics which develops everyday.

THE EFFORT TO DESCRIBE THE HUMAN BEING TOGETHER WITH UNIVERSE AND AS BLOWING WITH THE WAND, FLOWING WITH THE STARS AND WATER

It is very important for me to express the object in different forms. I worked a subject with different materials, but it is not a repetition. As I thought I never reach the point that, I want although I searched through all of my life, I began to play with light. I reached the shadow as I tried the roll of the light in metamorphism's, because I had no idea about the shadow play. Yet I was uninformed about colorful shadows and different techniques. The color and light that I learnt in academy had no contribution for me. After I interested with light, I began to read physics and I met the color theory of Goethe in a book. Goethe thought that it is unable to understand this theory with explaining, it must be applied; here the colorful shadows which I improved according to this theory is this applications. Goethe emphasized the sensorial and emotional sides of color and thought that eye determines the essence of color perception. The base of Kandinsky's color theory and some applications of Bauhaus school are depending on Goethe's color theory, but this theory was known very less in our country. For an artist Newton's color theory had no importance; but Goethe's is just for the artists... Because of no usage of words in our show, everything is edited with music. Lets have a look the philosophy of our show now. I think that Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi expressed what I thought in a poetic way. I had a way of viewing of art and life which do not put the human being in the center and tells the human being in the universe and the rhythm of nature. I found all of these at Rumi and began to create scenes from Rumi's poems. For example both in the first and in the last play I made a sentences like this as a scene: " Still I was absent, a door open to me from absence." Existence is hidden in absence. We tried to make feel this the spectators in our play. I also read Muhyiddin-i Arabi and Hallac-ı Mansur beside Rumi. I found parallelism with my way of thinking. Essentially the essence of all is the thoughts of human being spreading all around the universe as they lost their self-control. It is not only way to explain the human being with human being, but also with universe, as flowing with stars, water, as blowing the wind. Our last play 'Charming Theater' is about human being and of all kind situations of its soul. Beside different aesthetics, different ages and meanings are used together. It has been targeted to come out a kind of common inheritance like Jung explains as common subconscious. Rumi express this in a poetic way Because of this, in Monalisa, Mehmet Siyahkalem is show himself in the plays.

ESCORTS OF INTERNAL JOURNEY

As Mehpare Aksoy Yiğit made these works, she paid attention to protect herself especially some effects. She emphasized that it is required to be away from all kinds of obligations and especially the important thing is to listen the voice that come out of within yourself. If she didn't listen this voice, she added that she is absolutely bunged up. She benefit many times from musical compositions in her works. She seems her plays as a polyphonic music compositions. She thinks that its needed to be exceed ever polyphonic in all meanings and seems her group as an orchestra. The ones who didn't see these plays, mustn't miss these theaters where all around the world you can't easily encounter any sample like heaving the similar property, where you can't get rid of amazement in the face of superiority of technique and aesthetic, where both you can able to see all kinds of human beings and universe, and you can able to experience an artistic meditation experiment in a color spectrum which you already forgotten its presence.
