Big Island of Hawai'i

This site is about the Big Island of Hawai'i. It is mostly pictures, (most of which I have taken) because they say more about Hawai'i then words ever could.

The island of Hawai'i, A.K.A. the Big Island, is the only one of the Hawaiian Islands that is still volcanically active. This alone makes it very interesting (because you can see new lava flows), but is not the only interesting thing about it.

This picture of the Big Island of Hawai'i was taken from space.

This site includes:

Waipi'o Valley Valley of the Kings and entrance to the underworld. Pictures mostly.

Lava Here are my many great pictures of all forms of lava. The creation, the destruction, and the beauty.

Waterfalls Some pictures of waterfalls on Laupahoehoe Nui.
