: 08.19.07 :

Added a new Page, Monterey Bay Aquarium. I saw this new product to me at Staples :) Microsoft Expression Media and I was able to dowload a 60 day trial. Works good, but not on this free website because of all the ads. If it was ad-free it will be perfect. Played with it and like a lot of the layouts but some are not good for this site, and other I was not able to adjust some of the setting :( Overall it is worth the 60 day trial, you can see one example that I used already from the Link above, Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Changed the title of the website that viewers are able to see on the title bar, WTF was I thinking before.

Fixed all the links on this page. I had many broken links.

: 02.6.07 :

Added a few new pages, the Animal House page, the Hot Import Nights, and relinked the Holiday Card page on the menu, and lastly I added a lot more pics to the Greenland page too. I figured out how to add more menu items on the menu without starting over, had to play with it online because I did not save my work, looks like it works so far.

I am also in the works for adding a Auto Salon Expo from the pictures I have, many tight a$$ rides, if your into imports and stuff, only thing is I cannot find the pictures, yet. When I do you can bet I will put them up.

Cropped and edited hundreds of pictures and uploaded to website. Reduced quality to save space, so if picture is a little fuzzy, then you know why. I took a look at all of them and i can say at least 98% is fine. Other 2% is because I did so many I did not care anymore :)

: 01.27-28.07 :

Uploaded and created the New Years Page and removed the Xmas Card page. I still have it, just not active on the menu. You can see it by clicking the link Xmas Card. I thought I should have it up because the pictures are my two puppies both mixed and one is a poo-chi and the other is mixed Pomeranian w/ Maltese, more Maltese imo. The cards are really cute. I took more time with the black pup card, but both are nice.

Having lots of time on my hands I like to try a lot of shht. Before I changed the menu thing I used an older program version of All Web Menus to create a small and simple menu thing. It did its job but was very plain. You can see the version HERE. I also am playing with Linko Web Button Maker. Some things look good, but I can not figure out how to have a transparent background or a dark background, because all buttons have the white background and on a dark site or a colored site, it shows, and the button looks ugly. I used a portion of it on my picture page New Years.

Tried to use another program Macromedia Contribute 3 but to no avail I was not successful. So then I tried the Adobe version Abobe Contribute 4 and I got it to work for like a second, but I think the error that I was getting was not from the programs but from my site, I do not believe it is compatible yet, because it errors out. I was thinking of using Dreamweaver or GoLive but I was thinking that Adobe products are good shht but very hard to learn on your own. I have other Adobe products like CS2 and DVD Encode, good shhts but starting out at first is hard.

Got a new program an FTP thing-of-a-jig called Filezilla. I had others before like cuteFTP and other shhts but I never got the hang of it. I really wanted to use it to host shht but I still can not figure that shht out, then I was able to use the FTp with my site and I was like TIGHT Shht! It is a lot easier to upload shht. To bad I did not know how to use it back in the days.

Created a new menu system thing that I thought was pretty cool. Only thing is I am not sure how to really update it without starting over. Created using SoThink DHTML Menu

Started the redesign of the page that was created back in my highschool days. Erased some old ass text that made the site look ugly. Probably thinking the same now :)

ANGELS IN WAITING

Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room. Instead the angels were given a small space in the cold basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied, "Things aren't always what they seem."

The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest. When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field.

The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel how could you have let this happen? The first man had everything, yet you helped him, she accused. The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let the cow die.

"Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel replied.

"When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall. Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it."

"Then last night as we slept in the farmers bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave him the cow instead.

Things aren't always what they seem."

Sometimes that is exactly what happens when things don't turn out the way they should. If you have faith, you just need to trust that every out come is always to your advantage. You just might not know it until some time later...
