The Shichida Method Brain Training
Dr Makoto Shichida has been researching education methods of preschool
children since 1951. He is thoroughly convinced of the theory that
all babies are born geniuses.
Fifty years ago, there was virtually no compiled research made on
the education of babies. However, much progress has been made in this
field by scholars all over the world in the last 27 years. New facts
about the baby have been discovered, and these researchers have reached
the same conclusion, that all babies are born as geniuses.
For example, Dr Berry Brazelton of Harvard University states clearly that
babies are geniuses. Lewis Lipsitt, professor at Brown University, also
says that the newborn period is that in which man has the greatest learning
capacity. This is the same as saying babies are geniuses.
Dr Tom Bower of Edinburgh University, a serious newborn researcher, states
that the baby excels in comprehension, learning and communication abilities.
Until recently, the baby was said to be without any kind of knowledge or skill.
However, scholars all over the world are acknowledging that the baby is at
the pinnacle of his life in terms of genius potential.
The important principle of childhood developmental psychology that states
that complex behavioural patterns all stem from simple behavioural patterns,
is now said to be an outdated principle.
" The work of educator Makoto Shichida in Japan is
of particular significance. The results have shown that prodigious learning skills are available and can be maintained from the cradle. Eidetic imagery (or photographic memory) is strengthened and maintained so that the children are soon capable of reading with virtually perfect retention nearly as fast as they can turn the pages of a book."
Dr Edgar Mitchell,
Apollo 14 Astronaut, Founder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, USA
and Author of "The Way of the Explorer"
The above are examples of lightning math ability demonstrated by a 4 year old boy without the aid of any calculator or counting instrument.

Some parents' testimonials from Japan
Yuya and Arisa both started with The Shichida Method of instruction immediately after they were born. When Yuya was 7 and Arisa was 5 years old, they were both able to harness the image ability of the right brain and is able to engage in photographic reading.
They each read 10 books before sleeping every night. For a lower primary school book of about 100 pages, it takes about one minute, and for a higher primary school book of 200 pages, it takes between 3 to 5 minutes because of the higher level of difficulty, but never exceeding 5 minutes.
After reading, they will write down the contents of the books.
Naoko started with The Shichida Method at the age of 4, and after just one year, is able to harness the potential of the right brain. Now, she is able to guess shape cards with 100% accuracy.
"It all comes very naturally to me. For example, I can tell that this card is a square with just one look (at the reverse side). Sometimes, I do not need to look at the card, but just thinking of it will allow me to know its picture."
Other than shape cards, Naoko is also able to differentiate between black and red poker cards, and is able to pick out the 7 of diamonds in a pack of 52 cards. This is all thanks to the sense of touch of the right brain.

Parents can help change the child's potential through The Shichida Method!
Only 30 minutes a day to practise what you learn.
The following are some comments made by parents who have used The Shichida Method in Singapore. The children involved here were aged 6 months through 36 months, and are Chinese, Malay, Indian, Eurasians and Caucasians.
"Very amazed at his photographic memory.
Can identify which patterns were flashed to him when the patterns
were flashed for less than 1 second each.
(Tested 10 times and 10 times he got them correct.)"
Mother of Y.R., 15 months
"Has excellent photographic memory.
Eg. He can remember which keys open the main door and gate,
despite the fact that there are many keys in the pouch.
Nobody has taught him before. He remembers it by observation."
Mother of R.G., 24 months
(Child's progress in Right Brain Senses:) "He is almost perfect in picking up required object.
(In Photographic Memory:) He can remember very well after one flash.
(In Lightning Rapid Maths:) High percentage in giving right answer.
(In Language:) He's shown interest in learning foreign language.
He is listening to Japanese and French CDs.
He can pronounce Japanese language very precisely when asked to."
Mother of L.A.I., 28 months
"Definitely! (has benefitted) In fact, my family and I could sense the great and drastic
improvement in her. She could pick up new things very much faster than before.
Through that, she also builds up confidence and develops interest in learning."
Mother of J.N., 32 months
"I would recommend The Shichida Method to others.
It certainly has helped my daughter. She has benefitted by the different actions that
has come out of her own which many times has surprised us."
Mother of S.H., 16 months
"He can understand better; knows more than other children his age.
(Child's progress in Right Brain Senses:) Doing pretty good, compared to the beginning.
(In Intellectual Dev't:) I can see a great difference."
Father of A.P., 18 months
"I was amazed that L. can sit on the chair on his own for so long. He's normally quite restless.
I think he can concentrate better by sitting on his own."
Mother of L.L., 8 months
