A 50 year old manager had attended Prof Shichida's seminar on right brain development. He approached the professor and told him that the case the professor had mentioned, seemed to have happened to his family member. He told the professor that he would check out the details and come back to him the next day. The next day he approached the professor and thanked him saying that he was now able to understand that his wife uses her right brain to remember things. That discovery had resolved their disputes over these years. This manager's wife uses her right brain to remember things. Thus she was able to recall her memories with clear and concise images. Whenever she recalled these memories, she would ask her husband if he could also remember them. The manager who was used to using his left brain, could not remember so much and his standard reply was that it had happened twenty years ago. Thus he could not remember. His wife would then accuse him of lying. If she could remember, then he should be able to remember as well. Thus they would be at loggerheads with each other. That day after attending the seminar, he asked his wife whether her brain would show images of things that she recalls. She replied in the affirmative and asked him "Isn't everyone like me?" The manager told her that he had no such images. They then realised that their past disputes were a waste of time. From that day onwards they had a better understanding of each other.
