DIMENSION STONE AND MINERAL WATER
The area is underlain by different types of granite, most tending to coarse grain size with anisotropic
texture and the presence of pinkish feldspars. These features provide stone which varies in colour and
texture from the more common 'pepper and salt' granites. The company holds mineral rights to an
attractive granodiorite.
A natural mineral water containing containing a high amount of dissolved carbon dioxide, bicarbonate
and alkali-earth elements has been discovered on one of the properties. The water contains over
1000 ppm of dissolved solids and is naturally effervescent, thus resembling Perrier but in a slightly
more concentrated form. The company believes it must be feasible to produce mineral water in glass
bottles for the local market, to which mineral water is presently trucked over 1000 km.
