Stan is our oldest and most venerable server,despite the fact that he has only been with us a couple of years.

Universal in his attitude, Stan serves both at St. Thomas More's when at home and at The Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish & Missions in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, U.S.A. He's quite a commuter, you might even say a high flier - not bad for an 8- year old!!!!!

Stan was born and raised in Oxford in the Protestant faith. At the age of 19 he attended Theological College in London. During the period of World War II he spent six years with the "Desert Rats" in North Africa serving as a Padre and Welfare Worker.

When World War II ended, Stan went to South Africa as a Missionary and served there for almost fifteen years.

He became a Catholic in 1997, when he was received into the Church by the Rev. Fr. John Timmins.
