Limit Breaks



Cloud

LEVEL 1

Braver: Cloud performs a leaping chop on a single enemy.
Cross-Slash: Cloud gives a single enemy several slashes with his huge sword.
LEVEL 2

Blade Beam: Waves of energy rush from Cloud's sowrd and collide with one enemy. The remaining energy splits into smaller, weaker beams that hit the remaining enemies for about 1/3 of the damage of the first beam.
Climhazzard: Cloud skewers an enemy and leaps high for extra damage.
LEVEL 3

Meteorain: While leaping into the air, Cloud unleashes a barrage of meteors onto a group of enemies.
Finishing Touch: Cloud creates a large whirlwind that brings instant death to any enemies in its way. Doesn't work on bosses.
LEVEL 4

Omnislash: Cloud assaults his opponent with a long series of powerful sword attacks. This can be used on a single opponent or a group. With the right sword in hand, this Limit Break can do even more damage than the "Knights of the Round" Materia.

Barret

LEVEL 1

Big Shot: Barret fires a large ball of energy from his gun.
Mindblow: Barret fires a large ball of blue energy from his gun, depleting his opponent's MP.
LEVEL 2

Grenade Bomb: Targeting an entire group of enemies, Barrett launches a grenade into the middle of the group.
Hammerblow: Barret's powerful punch spells instant death for an enemy. Doesn't affect bosses.
LEVEL 3

Satellite Beam: Barret calls upon a laser air strike from above, striking all opponents.
Ungarmax: Barret fires a large amount of bullets at an entire group of enemies.
LEVEL 4

Catastrophe: Barret uses his gun arm to hover over a group of enemies, then burns them with a super-heated plasma blast. It can be used on a single enemy or a group.

Tifa

LEVEL 1

Beat Rush: Tifa unleashes a quick combo on one enemy.
Somersault: Tifa attacks an enemy with a flipping kick.
LEVEL 2

Waterkick: A wave of water washes over one enemy.
Meteodrive: Tifa picks up an enemy and delivers a quick backdrop.
LEVEL 3

Dolphin Blow: A dolphin executes a watery uppercut.
Meteor Strike: Tifa graps her opponent, jumps into the air, and slams her opponent down.
LEVEL 4

Final Heaven: Tifa hits the enemy with the force of a nuclear explosion.
NOTE: Tifa doesn't just use one combo at a time. If you get the slots right, she can execute all seven of her combos at once.

Aeris

LEVEL 1

Healing Wind: Aeris restores half of each person's HP with this heavenly breeze.
Seal Evil: Aeris casts a spell on a group of enemies, casting Stop and Silence on them.
LEVEL 2

Breath of the Earth: Beams of light cure the party of any negative status.
Fury Brand: Aeris sacrifices her Limit Break to fill the other party member's Limit Gauges.
LEVEL 3

Planet Protector: Aeris forms a protective barrier around the party that makes them temporarily invulnerable.
Pulse of Life: Aeris completely cures the party of any negative status and completely restores all their lost HP and MP.
LEVEL 4

Great Gospel: Aeris completely cures the party of any negative status, completely restores all their lost HP and MP, and makes them temporatily invulnerable.

Red XIII

LEVEL 1

Sled Fang: Red XIII charges through an opponent causing a large amount of physical damage.
Lunatic High: Haste is cast on everyone.
LEVEL 2

Blood Fang: Red XIII charges through an opponent causing a large amount of physical damage. He also gains a small amount of HP and MP.
Stardust Ray: Red XIII summons a cluster of falling stars, which causes severe damage to a group of enemies.
LEVEL 3

Howling Moon: Berserk and Haste are cast on Red XIII for the remainder of the battle. Unfortunately, this means that Red XIII can't aid the party with magic or anything else.
Earth Rave: Red XIII attacks a group of enemies with a series of five elemental attacks.
LEVEL 4

Cosmo Memory: Red XIII summons a huge ball of fire which explodes, engulfing his opponents in a huge ray of super-heated plasma.

Cid

LEVEL 1

Boost Jump: Cid leaps high into the air and crashes down onto a single enemy.
Dynamite: Cid hurls a large stick of dynamite into a group of enemies.
LEVEL 2

Hyper Jump: Cid leaps into the air and drives his weapon into the ground, causing a huge explosion that damages an entire group of enemies.
Dragon: Cid summons a dragon to attack one of his enemies. The dragon injures the victim and transfers the HP and MP to Cid.
LEVEL 3

Dragon Dive: Cid repeatedly pounces on a group of enemies.
Big Brawl: Cid leaps into a group of enemies and hits them with a series of lightning-fast attacks.
LEVEL 4

Highwind: Cid calls on the Highwind for assistance. The crew responds by firing a large amount of missiles at a group of enemies.

Yuffie

LEVEL 1

Greased Lightning: Yuffie hits a single opponent with a quick attack.
Clear Tranquil: A blue orb surrounds each party member and restores a small portion of each character's HP.
LEVEL 2

Landscaper: Yuffie causes a large tremor that forces the ground beneath a group of enemies to rise and explode.
Bloodfest: Yuffie attacks a group of enemies with a series of ten deadly blows.
LEVEL 3

Gauntlet: Yufgie summons a blue vortex beneath a group of enemies, causing a large amount of damage.
Doom of the Living: Yuffie attacks her opponents with a very long series of deadly blows.
LEVEL 4

All Creation: Yuffie blasts her opponents with a huge beam of iridescent light.

Cait Sith

LEVEL 1

Dice: Cait Sith rolls several dice onto the ground. The total of the numbers on the dice determine the amount of damage. As Cait Sith gains levels, he rolls more and more dice to do more damage.
LEVEL 2

Slots: Cait Sith plays his luck against his own slot machine.
3 Stars=Mog Dance
A tiny Mog appears and restores the party's HP, MP, and cures them of any negative status.
3 Crowns=Toy Soldier
Six toy soldiers appear and attack the entire group of enemies.
3 Bars=Random Summon
Cait Sith uses a random summon spell.
3 Mogs=Transform
Cait Sith transforms into a giant version of himself. His teammates disappear for the moment, but return at the end of the battle with 3333 HP and 333 MP.
3 Hearts=Lucky Girl
Ensures perfect accuracy.
2 Cait Siths and Bar
Instant death for the party.
3 Cait Siths
Instant win for the party.

Vincent

LEVEL 1

Vincent transforms into a purple beast with horns that attacks with fire-based attacks.
Beast Flare
Launches several orbs that explode and cause damage to a group of enemies.
Berserk Dance
Performs a combo attack against a single enemy.
LEVEL 2

Vincent transforms into a Frankenstein creature with powerful physical attacks and a lightning-elemental attack.
Gigadunk
Hits a single enemy with a powerful punch.
Livewire: Attacks an entire group with an electrical charge.
LEVEL 3

Vincent transforms into a chainsaw-wielding maniac.
Splattercombo
Hits a single enemy five times with his chainsaw.
Nightmare
One enemy is hit with several status effects including Mini, Frog, Sleep, Mute, and Confusion.
LEVEL 4

Vincent transforms into a huge winged demon.
Chaos Saber
Acts like Slash-All, but doesn't rely on Vincent's weapon to determine damage.
Stan Slam
A large skull is created under the opposition. Any enemies that aren't killed instantly are hit by flaming skulls.
