Walkthrough

Narshe

Party: ?????, Vicks, Wedge

You start out with three in your party. One is ????? when you look at the menu screen. The others are Vicks and Wedge, two Imperial soldiers. All three are in Magitek armor. You are on a cliff. The two soldiers talk for a little while, then leave for Narshe. When they get there, a Narshe guard attacks. You will have to fight your way through Narshe. When you get near the back of the town, climb the stairs there and go into the cave. When you walk into the cave, there will be two paths. You can only take the one that leads up. To the left there is a Save Point. You can go to the menu screen and save your progress when standing on one, as well as use Tents and Sleeping Bags. Take the path up and you will see a wall blocking the way. One of the soldiers rams down the door. Out comes a Narshe guard, saying that they will not let you get to the Esper. You will have to fight Whelk, a snail-like beast.

Whelk

Right before you get to the Esper inside the Narshe Caves, you will have to fight Whelk. Use your strongest attacks on its head when it is out, but when it retreats into its shell, stop your attacks. Whelk counters with Mega Volt every time you attack the shell, which can do 40 HP of damage to your entire party. Eventually the damage you do to its head will defeat it.

Narshe Caves

Head farther up after defeating Whelk and you will see a block of ice, which contains the frozen Esper. ????? will walk up to it. The screen will switch to a battle scene, but you will not fight it. The Esper, Tritoch, kills Vicks and Wedge, but not ?????. Tritoch starts to glow. Tritoch zaps ?????, and the screen goes black.
Narshe

Party: ?????

????? wakes up in an old man's house. She steps out of bed and sees the old man standing near the back door. ????? remembers that her name is Terra. The old man comments on how quickly she recovered from wearing the Slave Crown. She had been an Imperial soldier, used for her magical abilities.
