The Kids in the Hall are a Canadian comedy troupe whose TV show aired on HBO, Comedy Central, CBS, and the CBC almost simultaneously over various years*. The troupe (David Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson) decided to stop production on their show after five television seasons, 1989-1995 (and ten years of working together as a comedy troupe), to pursue other things. And pursue they did. Not only can former members be found on shows like The Larry Sanders Show, Saturday Night Live and NewsRadio, but they also have a major motion picture which was released nationally April 12, 1996 called brain candy!
