"WHaT ThA BLinD MaN SaW In HiS DrEaMs"
-(I GiVe CreDiT To Me)-

There once was a blind man
Who wore shades on the back of his head
And walked across the road
When the cross lights was red
Oh My,
I hope he's all right
If not I'd be Charon,
The Underworld Ferryman
And help him across the water
Free of charge
It's o.k.
I won't take cash or credit card
Where you goin sir?
Don't look for an ATM
I only accept friendship
So I shook his cold silvery hand
I'd listen late at night,
While the blind poet told me stories
Of jealous men, and things that were not nice
Of floating kingdoms, golden cities, and high desert sands
Things just weren't right
The ancient castles were made of ice,
Each was strung out across the land
They all fought until the very end
And the river became gory
It wasn't funny at all, it was a true story
The blind man put his hand on my shoulder and said
"Friend, I know how you feel and I'm truly sorry"

I could see that this old man was very lonely
He was somewhere in his late 40's
And had no companion,
So I became his only friend
I was amazed at the knowledge
This blind man possessed
And of all the things he knew
He couldn't read or write or even tie his own shoes
But he could see me well enough,
To kick my ass, therefore,
I never asked how he lost his left eye
Which he kept in a jar glass
It contained green olives, ginger root, and a snake's hide
I had to examine it
Because there was something strange about the man's eye

I saw that it was alive
It glowed a deep green light
As bright as the star,
But as dark as the night
It frowned at me from behind the glass
I knew I was safe,
Cus' I was out of it's grasp
It didn't have hands nor legs
I wonder how it crawled out of it's place?
I became really afraid'
Now it stood in front of me, smiled and held my gaze
And to my astonishment, weakly laughed in my face
My heart skipped a pace
The eye saw my intentions clearly,
It knew I was there
But the old man was undisturbed and unaware
Still asleep,
Dreaming a happy dream
I refrained from stealing
His jewelry, purse, and lovely things,
I couldn't rob this nice man,
He had taught me, almost everything
And if I got caught
I'd be in big trouble, possibly even dead
He'd kill me slowly, or worse, spill open my head
The eye knew me well but I had already fled
Turned and headed for the woods
Could it be a bad dream? No, I don't think?
I put my feet in front of me
And just kept running
They pleaded for me to stop and rest
And when I finally did
It was when I realized this

I never saw the forest from the trees
I was as blind as the man in his sleep
Now I know what he sees in his head...
He knew there'd be no heaven or eternal life in the end
He found out that his friends had lied to him
There's no need for peace when you're dead
You leave behind all your belongings
And lose interest in worldly things
Man made god
Because he was afraid of Death
Enjoy life while you can,
Give everything your best
Don't let other people steal your dreams
You have the ability to manifest
And be anything, you want tah' be
If you don't succeed, you've never tried
Live with the Truth, not Lies
I guarantee, one day you'll see the light, mah' Friend
You're the author and main character in this story,
Admire yourself, cus' you're your only fan
The reader won't like THe EnD if it's disappointing
NaH mean?
Returning to the soil is like the feeling of ecstasy
Know what I'm sayin, It'll be a joy tah' die
Maybe not now, but when you're old and tired,
I'll be the Ferryman, don't be scared
Take my hand instead, and together
We'll explore the land
