The alien is the weakest of the 3 species in AvP. But that does not mean they are easy to kill. Aliens use stealth and their speed to keep them safe. One of the best features i have ever seen in a first person shooter game is that the aliens have the ability to climb ANY where on the levels. That adds a WHOLE new element to the game, the hunt. Aliens can hide in dark areas and never be seen, they move so fast that they can almost out run the motion detector. Of course the predator can see them by swithing to the electrical vision (red one). But a marines only chance to actually find an alien on dark levels is by using the smartgun. Overall the aliens speed and abilities in the hands of a gamer who knows how to use them, can be deadly.

The Alien does not carry weapons or pick up health. Aliens have 3 features of attack...

-The Claws...The front claws don't do much damage in multiplayer games but in single player mode they tend to take down any enemy with easy besides the preds.

- The Tail whip...The tail whip does alot more damage if you charge it up. Hold the right mouse button down to charge it up and when your close to a marine or pred let it lose. It will kill a marine in 1 shot, and 2 for the pred. This attack seems to be favored in multiplayer mode cause its the easiest.

-Head Bite...This is hard to do for some people and easy to do for someone like me or anyone who really likes to play as the alien. I requires that you align the aliens head with your enemy's and when you see the teeth come down, unleash it. Getting that close to do is another thing.
