Bio: I grew up in S.Texas and lived there for 19 yrs. I went to H.S. at Homer Hanna H.S. I partook in JROTC, it earned me a promotion in the U.S. Army! I went to Basic at Ft Leonardwood, MO. I became a medic at Ft Sam Houston, TX. I am now stationed in Alaska! I now call Ft Wainwright home. I will be stationed here for the next 3 years! It blew my mind away when I found out I was to be here for so long. I am convinced that I am at the center of some major conspiracy, under the U.S. Army, to send as many people from southern climates to as far North as possible. The majority of soldiers here are comprised of people who are from hot climates. But I digress. I no longer share a room with a guy from Kansas who drinks way too much. My favorite things are: watching Fargo, playing video games, listening to Punk rock or The Cure, you know. I also work on this infernal web page while chattin' on ICQ! You can find me @ 20573670!

I lived through my first winter. I was bad. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though. I had a lot of fun snow shoeing. I walked 6 miles with a 50 pound back pack in temperatures as low as -50 F! I did that during the Winter games Iron Man Competition, which I am training up for right now! Cool, huh? I saw huge moose that stood over 6 foot at their neck! I also watched water "disappear." If you throw boiling water up into the air @ -50 F, it will turn into a mist that will evaporate before it can hit the ground! I got to ski for the first time in my life with the Army's Weapon of Choice: The White Rockets! They are simply a set of rickety skis that shoot off your feet when you fall and propell you forward at high velocities! If you thought that was cool you haven't lived until you try to get dressed in the Arctic! You wake up in a crowded ten man tent, it is -40 F outside and -10 F inside. Everything is sooooo cold. Getting out of the sleeping bag is almost as bad as getting in. When you get in it, it is almost deathly cold... but it warms up in a minute or two. Getting out you know it is cold for about 10 minutes after you put your clothes on. Going to the latrine? Don't even get me started!
