Take several ghosts and cloak them and send each one to a different base. You can try lifting your barracks to get ghosts on top of a plateau to nuke from above. Now your target should be any new expansions, especially the 2nd or 3rd expansion since that's where most of the probes are. Also any mass of tech buildings are good, as a spire, templar archive, robotics, cybernetics, evolution chamber, forge, and engineering bay. Now targeting the spot form where to hit, should be your next plan. Make sure you don't target a unit or building, instead target the ground especially any area that he can't see. Spots to target are the edge of cliff if your attacking from above, and at the shore line from across the river. Keep in mind that your ghost's general location will be known once your nuke drops, so try to get as many ghosts into position well behind your enemy's front line before nuking.
Now when trying to nuke the area where your opponent is massing units, use two ghosts. You have to nuke far away from the units, so that they can't see the dot. Use both units and sandwich the units. Use each nuke to cover half of the army, effective covering a huge area. Think of the nukes as a large circle, so try to make the area you want to hit the middle of both circles. Your opponent knows where his units are, especially since huge masses are obvious. So nuking them directly is impossible, since they can move away. However if you use 2-3 nukes, you can make it very hard for them to find a safe area.
Some of you probably doubt that nukes have any effective/real use in a game. Hehe..... I played a game on styx one time long ago, where I was Terran and my opponent was a Zerg. He lost all of hydralisks since he had them bunched up and couldn't move them away fast enough. Also I was able to double nuke his greater spire twice, also destroying the hive as well. However I didn't have my goal set on nuking him, just that you tend to collect a lot of gas since marines are the unit of choice. So don't go straight fo nukes.
As for ghosts, it takes about 20 energy/seconds for a nuke to drop. So plan how long you have left before you decide to double nuke an area. Make sure you get the sight range upgrade or else you may be detected. If you plan to use dropships, then cloak the ghost before it enters the dropship, so your opponent won't see the ghosts exiting. You can try to trick him by dropping masses of marines, when you had a few cloaked ghosts inside as well. This will help to get ghosts into the back of your opponents base.
