
The Protoss have one unique unit that gives the Protoss a strong advantage over everyone else, the observer. Once you get a robotics, and an observatory, producing non-stop observers will help you more than you think. Never think that u have enough, unless you see the whole map already. This is the next best thing next to a map hack, or black sheep wall. Keep them over every expansion, and around your opponent's base. Now after you get a good view of how much of the map you control compared to your opponent you should try to take parts of the map away from him. Any unguarded expansion should be hit and destroyed. The Protoss have many units to make quick and effective attacks. The zealot is probably one of the best. It has speed and strength, and can take out small defenses easily. The dragoon may be needed to take out masses of sunkens, bunkers, or photon cannons. Now if you want to raid an expansion, because you can't destroy it easily, try using observers to find an undefended back door. You can use many different units to kill off all the workers which is your goal. Templars are the best, since they you can fit 4 of them into a shuttle, and can cast up to 3 psi storms each. Other units include the reaver, which used to be the weapon of choice long ago. Now it has a little delay before it can fire off the scarabs, which may give enough time for your opponent to get his probes away. A deadly unit to hit expansions are dark templars. Usually there won't be any detection, except photon cannons, since protoss usually cannon up their expansion. However Terrans only have comstat, and maybe a turret. The Zerg will have no detection, since they rarely build overlords at the expansion
