Stage 1

Here is Stage 1 of my project, cleaning everything up, trying to fit the motor in the frame, and polishing my sidecases. (Pictures Below)

Here's the frame with my Engine (Minus the rocker cover because it wouldn't fit in with it on) And my hand polished side case I worked while watching the news on the Sep. 11th tradgedy...

And heres the other side. Notice my reverse kick starter that will give me troubles with my rear fenders. I'll probably just end up cutting them like the Duning trikes so my leg wont hit them.

As you can see the alignment of the motor in the frame is quite poor...Thats all the better I could do at the moment without having the frame cut up. I'm pretty sure my sprockets will line up.

Again, you see the poor alignment.

And there is my poor, poor, excuse of a swingarm. Its gonna hopefully be sandblasted, and painted Aluminum Gray. Also thinking about getting a +2 axel.

And theres my spare motor I have. The rod is bent and its loose on the crank, so its definetly not a option to use. But its got a few spare parts I can use.

Those are the 2 carbs I'll be using for my Dual carb setup.

And heres a closeup of my case I worked my arse off on. I used 80 grit sandpaper all around it first to get the paint and the deep scratchs out. Then I took 320 and when around it alot to get it nice a smoothed out. Then I applied about 3 coats of "Mothers mag and alumnim polish" I got it at my local Nappa dealer.

And heres my other Case I'm working on. Its got alot more deeper scratches that I'm trying to work out with my 80 grit sand paper. Its got alot more sanding to be done to it before it starts getting the finer sand paper and the actual polish.

Well, thats it for Stage 1. Keep checking back to see how far I'm getting to completeing my "Monster"
