Filling: Mix filling and batter ingredients in separate bowls. Preheat over to 375 degrees. Place filling in greased baking dish and drop batter on top of filling with a tablespoon (batter will spread when cooking). Bake for 40-45 minutes or until apples are soft and batter is brown. Serve with whipped cream.

1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tb. soft butter

1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbs. soft butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
