a close-up of the one of the first slip hats i made. it's quite comfy and warm, actually. despite being a bit on the large side. it's great if you wrap a scarf around your head. or have big hair.
the aberlady hat i stole from a sweater pattern. it's kinda hard to see the pattern in pictures, but in person it's quite a cool pattern. it's with the slip hat my mother now owns. she bought it at the bazaar and says she's gotten many compliments on it and that i should make more like it. i guess i'll have to go buy some more of the brown yarn. fred meyer here i come!
