Earth Dragonballs
The Earth dragonballs can be gathered once every year. After that you can gather them again the next year. If you get the dragonballs on Earth you are granted one wish from the Eternal Dragon Shenlon. Once the Z warriors made 7 wishes the dragonballs turned to stone because the dragonballs were thought to be too much trouble and Shenlon Banished them.
Namek Dragonballs
On Namek the dragonballs grant three wishes instead of one wish. This is because the Earth Dragonballs were created by Kami and Kami didn't know how to make them that good. Guru made these dragonballs. He gave each elder namek a dragonball to hold on to.
