CTY DancesThese are some of the '95 dances. We had fun at these dances. We danced, we drank soda, we sugared ourselves up, we took pictures, we passed notes, we dressed up, we had relationship counseling sessions, and we were totally hyperactive.

Here are Josh and Joanie, tired out after throwing ourselves completely into dancing. Josh's hair is soggy because he dipped his head into a great big bowl of mostly melted ice that had formerly held soda bottles or something. Joanie is wearing the infamous Pink Skirt. |

This is what happens when we girls get our hands on a perfectly normal guy (without his medication). We girls searched out the clothes we needed, and ganged up on poor Josh at the Reading/Letter Writing activity, which was the second activity of the afternoon. It was held in Schambach, so we had easy access to bathrooms. We put together the underwear first. We took a bra of Emily's, and socks and pantyhose from several different sources. We wadded up the socks and wrapped them with pantyhose to try to get it to jiggle right. Kleenex was tried, but rejected, as it didn't bounce back after pinching. As Josh had only boxers, Ben contributed a clean pair of briefs. Emily's RA allowed Josh to wear a pair of her fishnet panty hose. Emily discovered in her things a white blouse and a very very red jumper. Emily and I helped Josh put on the sock-loaded bra. Josh wore the outfit with grace and good humor, even though several girls noticed that his bra strap was showing at dinner. |
